Carmen and Shawn went to Cheyenne and Carmen's apartment, it was quite small. Shawn lived alone with his dog, cats, and fish. He didn't have an apartment though, he had a house, and that house was a lot bigger than most houses. Carmen thought it was weird to have an oversized house for 1 human and four animals.

Carmen needed to unpack her stuff and get her bedroom all sorted out. Shawn helped Carmen bring in her boxes, but Carmen had to do all of the real work. Shawn, after he helped Carmen, sat with his dog on his tiny couch watching his huge TV in his oversized living room. Carmen always wondered what it was like to live in a big home. That was all she could think of. She knew when she grew up she wanted to have a big house, a fancy house, a house the would be perfect to raise a family in. Carmen knew it was going to be a long time until she needed to even consider that. She was only 9.

So while Carmen was folding her clothes and putting them in dressers and her closet Shawn left her there by herself to go back to Carmen's old apartment. He went and got all of Cheyenne's belongings. Back at Shawn's house Carmen sat on the floor pulling everything out from the boxes and lightly putting it on the floor. She stopped at a picture of her and her mom when she was only two years old. Carmen had a slight chuckle. Then she got up and placed it on her nightstand, next to her phone, laptop, and granola bar.

She finished unpacking the rest of her things. She took a little break so that she could watch some TV and go to the bathroom. She heard Shawn's car pull in. She flicked the TV off as quick as she could and ran up all thirty stairs to her new room. She walked into her room and though what a dump? She picked up he stuff quickly and put them in the correct place. She knew if she even tried to put something in the wrong place that she would get "in trouble".

The theme of her bedroom was teal, white, and gold. After all of her stuff had been put away she stepped back. She didn't have enough furniture for the room. She had so little furniture, but the room was so big. Carmen walked downstairs. Shawn was up fixing dinner for both of them. It was ramen noddles with garlic bread. The smell of the chicken flavored ramen came through very strong. "Hey what's up Carmen" Shawn asked. "Well I just finished unpacking if you want to see what it looks like" Carmen replied softly. "Okay". He left the dinner on the stove and walked up the stairs.

"Looks nice" he said. Carmen shrugged her shoulders and went downstairs. There was a fire! "FIRE! FIRE!" Carmen yelled. "Carmen get out!" Shawn hollored back. She took the dog, and two cats, she couldn't save the fish though. Several minutes have passed and the fire is getting bigger. Shawn is still in the house.
