It became common for him to leave the room to play with his doubles and then be locked in. The law of silence also continued daily between him and the men.

That flower became his confidant, his only friend. Every day he talked to her and told her stories of his past as if she were Khai. Maybe he was going crazy, but only in that way did he ease the overwhelming feeling of loneliness.

—And Bone said he would never be able to because you were going to arrive and... —Suddenly the door opened. Tong looked at him mockingly. It was not the first time the boss discovered him talking to the flower.

Sometimes, he even threatened to burn it if he misbehaved.

—How are my two flowers? —He asked laughing. —Anything interesting to tell?

—No. —Third answered giving him a kiss and then putting the flower in a handkerchief that Ming had kindly given him. —Are we going out today?

—Yes, I'm going on a trip with Beka and since you've been so good, I'm going to let you be with the boys again.

It was so unexpected that Third couldn't hide the emotion on his face.

—Really? —Hope flashed in his eyes. —What do I have to do, boss?

There was always a price to pay.

—Burn it. —Tong handed him a lighter. —Burn that silly flower and I'll let you out of here. —Third wasn't surprised by the cruel request.

His life was now in the man's hands. He took the object and without hesitation incinerated his only companion; there was no other option. The boss's orders were carried out no matter what.

—Good boy. —Tong congratulated him with a couple of claps on his head, as if he were an animal. —From now on you can enjoy the hallways again. There are three rooms for the four of you. I think Sean is sleeping in yours, you can kick him out if you want or sleep with him if he doesn't bite you. He's a rabid dog.

Third was very clear that Sean hated him, it didn't surprise him that the man really bit him as soon as he walked through the door. They had already had intimate encounters several times and the look of disgust never left the face of his boyfriend's double.

—Have you thought that when they find out that everything they've experienced here is because of you, they're going to hate you? If I were you, I would never tell them. —Tong mentioned that casually as they walked. —They already hate you enough for killing Khai.

Third nodded silently and said goodbye to the boss with a kiss. After watching him drive away in the car, he let out the breath he had been holding since they left the room. Freedom was coming back again.

—What are you going to do now? —Ming asked at his side. —Should I take you to your room?

—I... want to see him...

—Are you sure? You must be tired, the boss was very....

—I want to see him—He repeated, holding back the urge to cry. —Let me see him Ming...I beg you.

—You can do whatever you want. —The guard's voice was soft but firm. —I'll be behind you, come on.

Third headed to the garden as fast as his legs allowed him. As he approached, his heart pounded in pain and the feeling of guilt came to his mind. First he killed Khai and then the flower. He was as bad as Tong told him.

—Hello... —He greeted the flowers sitting on the ground. —I'm sorry for burning a part of you...my love...

He waited in silence for an answer he knew he wouldn't get.
