Oleanderpaw wasn't able to fall back to sleep that night, so he just laid in his nest until sunrise, thinking in fearful silence.

The brown tabby got to his paws when he saw the tiniest bit of light peeking through the crevice. Oleanderpaw squeezed through the crack, taking in the gorgeous sight of the sky above.

Oleanderpaw sat outside of the den, he didn't want to focus on that horrid nightmare anymore, he needed a distraction… maybe if he ignored the dreams, they'd go away.

Spiderpaw crept out of the crevice, accidentally headbutting Oleanderpaw, making him jump and whip around to face her, his violet eyes wide.

“Oh! You're awake early,” the dark colored shecat yawned, “sorry if I scared you.”

“N-no, you didn't, don't worry,” Oleanderpaw sighed, attempting to calm himself, maybe he could distract himself from the dreams by conversing with spiderpaw.

Spiderpaw hummed, not seeming to notice Oleanderpaw's fear, “usually I'm the first one awake, guess that's changes today!”

the younger apprentice was about to open his mouth to speak, but a familiar short, dark-colored tom approached along with a shorthaired tortie.

“You're both up early,” Coalpelt commented, “I hope you've both had a restful sleep, today we're going to be training in groups today, flarestar's orders.”

“Is Rushpaw up yet?” Smallstripe asked, Spiderpaw shook her, “Nope!”

“Well, go wake him up,” Commanded Coalpelt, Spiderpaw turned to go wake the gray tom, but before she could even get pawstep in, Oleanderpaw rushed into the den.

Oleanderpaw walked next to Rushpaw's nest, and gently prodded the pretty tom. Rushpaw yawned and raised his head, Oleanderpaw couldn't help but stare into his sparkling yellow eyes.

“Are you just gonna stare at me or do ya got something to say,” The pale tom asked, cocking a catbrow.

“OH! Uh- Coalpelt said we're training in groups today,” Oleanderpaw quickly replied, feeling a bit embarrassed. Rushpaw rolled his eyes in response, sighing.

Rushpaw got up, stretching as he did, without a word he pushed pass Oleanderpaw, not giving them a second thought.

Oleanderpaw stood there, dazed for a moment, he shook his head, turning around to leave the den.

As the tabby tom squeezed through the crevice, he noticed another cat had joined the small group, a warrior with a striking resemblance to Rushpaw.

“Ah, Oleanderpaw, its been a while since I've seen you,” the gray shecat mewwed, Oleanderpaw tilted his head in confusion, the scent was familiar, but he couldn't quite but a name or face to it.

She noticed Oleanderpaw's confusion, “Im Haytoe, Rushpaw and Stormpaw's mother.”

Oleanderpaw perked up, thats why she was familiar! Though something he found odd is that he hadn't seen Stormpaw yet.

“We're going now,” Coalpelt called, heading for the exit, it was a short tunnel made from brambles and large leaves, stones lining the bottom.

The crew of six left camp. his second time out of camp! Hopefully it didn't go as bad as the first time... Oleanderpaw thought with a bit of worry.

They made their way through the territory, eventually ending up at a warm, sunny clearing.

There was a large, flat stone in the center of the treeless area, the sun making the rock glitter in the light.
