Chapter 4- The Exam

Blah blah blah. This guy was rambling something about the exam but I wasn't really paying attention. I did happen to feel someone staring at me though, and I'm like ninety nine percent sure it was Nozel.
Ohh, there's actually some pretty good- er cool looking guys up there. Let me just take some pictures real quick. I lifted my phone and took some pictures of the people. Let's see. Intimidating fire dude, a buff version of Aizawa?, and hmm, a praying mantis?
I looked at my photos then clicked it off, shoving my phone in my pocket.
As I finally decided to pay attention, the weird mask guy began casting a spell, an incredible spell. Branches came down from the sky. One went down right in front of me and formed into a boom. The broom dropped into my hands and I stared at it super excited. Without even listening for instructions, I hopped onto it and bolted into the sky. Using the quidditch attribute i got, I zoomed around the entire stadium. In fact I was so fast that there wasn't even anyone else in the sky yet, making me the target of attention, but I don't care. I kept zooming around, even deciding to stand on it. As I stood up I started to do loops and zigzags. It was amazing, the feeling of being free. It was so amazing in fact that I felt like a child. I started giggling, throwing my hands in the air and cheering like a child.
"Woooo-hooo!" I yelled before setting back down and coming to an abrupt stop directly in front of Nozel.
"This is awesome!" He turned away from me, but I could see a sliver of a smile on his face. I flew away and kept showing off as people started to join me in the sky. Around halfway though I noticed that the only one on the ground was Asta, so I flew down next to him with a soft smile on my face.
"Hey, wanna fly with me? It won't count towards your points, but I figured it'd be fun for you to try."
"YESS!!" Asta ran and jumped on behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist as I shot off. The two of us flew around the sky, both of us cheering. Unfortunately, our fun has to end. The two of us landed and we continued on with the other trials. I aced them all pretty well. Eventually it was the last trial, one vs one battles. I started walking around looking for an opponent and I felt someone grab my waist.
"What the-"
"Hey there, are you a noble, cause you're gorgeous." This guy leaned down and said this in my ear, making me freeze in place.
"You have three seconds to get your hands off of me....or you wont have hands" i said this lowly, a small growl in my voice.
"feisty...I like it. " That blew my fuse. Without a second thought I turned around and punched him square in the face, sending him back a few feet. He grabbed his now bleeding nose and looked up at me enraged.
"You Little-" "Expecto Patronum!" I shot the spell at him as a giant white, growling wolf appeared, charging at him and attacking. It brought him down to the ground, biting him before dissipating away.

"What is the meaning of this!?" The fiery looking captain said while standing up.
"The battles have not commenced yet." The masked guy said as he stood too.
'I-i'm so-" "He attacked me out of nowhere!" The guy yelled as he pointed at me, holding his bleeding shoulder.
"You started it! Episkey!" I raised my hand and he flinched, thinking I was going to attack him again. The captains also stood on edge, believing that I was just an uncontrolled aggressive person.
"No!...h-huh?" He said as he realized that I had healed him. The captains and everyone else stared at me confused.
"Y/N!" Asta ran out into the middle of the arena , checking on me.
"Are you okay!? What did he do!? You don't attack without reason, ever!" He shouted way too loud for my liking, letting everyone hear.
"It's fine Asta, he's just a pervert." I said while crossing my arms, but unfortunately, he decided to use his brain for once.
"He touched you!?" I turned away, face palming at his idiocy and inability to read a room.
"Seriously, shut up." I whisper-shouted to him, but there was no point.
"Is this true?" The fiery guy asked and I just looked away, rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly. I didn't give an answer, but it was pretty obvious.
"I see, throw him out, he's been disqualified." The mask guy said before some guards came and dragged the guy away.
"As for you..." I gulped nervously as they all stared at me.
"That will not count as your battle, so find a new partner. Now, the battles will commence!" I sighed while holding my chest. Then I grabbed Asta and dragged him off the battleground.
"Thanks, Asta..." I said before we parted ways. I started walking through the crowd to find someone to fight, but no one would after seeing my previous fight. So I was left alone.
My fear was growing as the final fights neared, and eventually the last one was over.
"Next fight!"
No one stepped out.
"Where is the contestant from before?" Masked guy asked.
"Here...." I stepped out into the center.
"Why didn't you come out when I asked?"
"I..don't have an opponent...so I can't fight." I said.
"Hmmm, very well, we'll take your fight earlier instead." I nodded quickly then disappeared back into the crowd.

After that they moved onto the selection ceremony. It was in this ceremony that I learned the names of each squad. Out of them all, Yuno picked the Golden Dawn, and Asta picked the black Bulls. I was trying to decide which squad to join when I realized the answer was right in front of me! Google!
I googled which squad was the best and which one had the most screen time or whatever. It said the Black Bulls so I guess I'm going with that. At least I'll have Asta with me.
"Contestant 172!" I walked out in front of them, standing tall.
"All squad captains who want him, raise your hands" As he said this i was genuinely shocked to see everyone raise their hands.
"Oh, uh, wow." I looked at them all and felt kind of bad for Nozel. Although I did know him, It was better for me to pick the Black Bulls.
"I hope to cause no offense...or to hurt any feelings, but I choose The Black Bulls." Everyone in the arena, the other captains, and even the captains of the Black Bulls were surprised.
"Very well then." I bowed then walked off, relieved that everything was over.

This has been a day, a day indeed.
