The Flewins and the Trolls

Let's do this/sound of silence/ midnight talk

It was already morning and the five Flewin Gals were following Chef's trail. They had been walking for a long time and began to get tired. "Let's rest a little, there's still a long way to go before we get to Bergen Town" Vanessa said as she sat down and the others collapsed on the ground "If we were of our normal size, it would be more easier" said Valentina with annoyance.

Suddenly they heard a branch break and saw a bush moving "Maybe it's a squirrel" Valeria said as she got up from the ground "I don't think so" Vanessa said and called her staff and the others summoned their own weapons. When they cleared the bushes they prepared to attack, but their surprise was great when they saw "Branch?!" The five said at unison. On the bush was Branch "What are you guys doing here?" He asked to them "We are going to save Aphmau and the rest"

"What are you doing here?" Vanessa answered the question and at the same time asked him "Basically the same as you guys. Plus, Poppy is in the same mission" Branch explained as he brushed some leaves out of his hair. Vanessa slapped her forehead, she forget than Poppy had also decided to save her friends "If Poppy is around here. We'll have to go with her. She's not going to survive alone" Vanessa explained "How can you be sure of that?" Aquaria asked. In response to her question they saw several spiders gathered next to a cocoon, in which Poppy was unconscious . And Aquaria spoke "You know what, forget it. Let's fight" The six began to push the spiders away from Poppy. Branch used her hair as a whip.

Valentina used her bow and fire arrows to lightly burn the grass and the spiders moved away.

Alice used some vines to put Poppy away from the ground and Aquaria used her water power to freeze the spiders. Some of them attacked Vanessa but she hit them with her staff and drove them away. When the spiders were gone Alice took down the cocoon, with Poppy, and they checked to see if she was okay. Vanessa pressed her ear to the cocoon trying to hear any heartbeat, but she didn't listen anything and start to getting scared

"Alice, free Poppy. Branch, look for a couple of glowing bugs" She ordered them. Alice used the tip of her spear and cut the cobwebs, Branch gave Vanessa a pair of glowing insects, Vanessa rubbed the insects together generating static "Clear!" She said she used the insects as a defibrillator, electrocuting Poppy "Get back up again~" She woke up, sang and saw the group "Branch, girls, right on time" She got up and dusted herself off.

"Oh really, like you knew than we was coming. Well, the gals are going to save their friend and your friends too" Branch explain "Well, I knew than after the thrid hug time, getting eaten by a Bergens it wouldn't be so bad"

"And I figuret out than you couldn't do this by your own" Branch retored "And we also figuret out the same thing. By the way, I'm not mad of what happen last night anymore, and I'm sorry for what I said" Vanessa said "Well, now all we have the same mission so let's do this together, as sooner we arrived to Bergens Town, sooner we could save our friends from and return home safe and sounds. And Vanessa, I forgive you" Poppy replaied and lead the way.

"Wait, wait, wait, hold on. What is exactly your plan?" Branch asked to her "I already say it, save our friends and return home safe and sounds" Poppy repeat "Uhhhh Poppy, that's not a plan. It's a wish" Vanessa explains "Vanessa is right. And I have a plan. First, we get to the edge of Bergen Town without be spooted. Then, we get inside by the old escape tunnels, which will lead us to the Troll Tree, right before to get captured, and suffer a death at the hands of a horrible, bloodthirsty Bergen!"

"Hold on a sec. Are you scrapbooking his plan?" Vanessa asking, noticing than Poppy is making a scrapbook "Yep, almost...done" She show them the scrapbook, it was showing all of them saying "We did it" then glitter squirted in Branch's face. The Gals couldn't resist to laugh

"Poppy...for the sake of this journey. There will be no more-" He sneezed glitter, then he finished "Scrapbooking"

A while later

The group was walking through the dangerous forest. While Poppy was singing "Do you have to sing?" Branch asked, without more patient "Well yea, I always sing when is a good time" She said happy "Poppy, it's not the best moment for that" Vanessa said and Poppy stopped "Thanks Van" Branch said

At night

It was already night and the group was sleeping. Well, Poppy was anxiosly, keeping her awake. She took out from her hair some pictures of her friends and bring them the goodnights. She looked to the sky and start to sing

Poppy: Stars shining bright above you

"Really?" Branch turned to saw her "Seriouly? More singing?" He said "Poppy, it's too late. Can you sleep already?" Valeria said with a yawn

"Yeah, seriously. No, I can't sleep. And sing helps me to relax. Maybe you should tryed" She replaied to them and said the last part to Branch

"I don't sing, I don't relax. This is the way than I am and I like it. As also like a littel of silent" He said and turned back to try to sleep. But he heard a guitar and saw Poppy singing, again, along with some criatures:

Poppy: Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again (hello!)
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains within' the sound of silence

The Flewins aplaused. And Branch get up "May I?" He asked if she can give to him she's guitar. Poppy hand off the guitar to him, but Branch broke it and throw to the fire.

At midnight

In the middle of the night Branch woke up thirsty and pulled a canteen out of his hair. But before he could going back to sleep he heard something, it was crying. Curious, he followed the sound and saw that the one crying was Vanessa.

Vanessa noticed him and stopped crying "Hi Branch. Did I wake you up?" She said as she wiped away her tears "No. Are you okay? You look sad" Branch asked to Vanessa and sat next to her "It's nothing. I just had a bad dream" She answered and looked away from him "Are you sure? You can tell me if something is bothering you" He said and Vanessa sighed "My dream was...about the day when my parents died" She said and Branch was stunned "What? What do you mean? What happened to your parents?" Branch didn't understand anything, Vanessa took a deep breath and start to explain "Don't tell this to anyone, at less for now. Than happened to them was that: they dead...when I was a baby" Branch was stunned and Vanessa continue exlaping "Our home was attacked, they tried to protect me. But, at a terrible cost. I have no memory of them or the attack. I lived for seventeen years without knowing it and when I found out the reason for their death, I blamed myself for it. And that's why I'm afraid of losing Aphmau or anyone of my friends, they are everything to me. I'm sorry. This is...very difficult for me to say it" Vanessa started crying again

Branch felt sorry for her, and he also felt identified with that "I'm so sorry, Vanessa. Can I tell you something? I also experienced something similar. I lost a loved one and it affected me so much, than I lost my colors and stopped singing or dancing" He said regretfully, Vanessa already knew what Branch was talking about and hugged him "Hey, what are you doing?" Branch tensed at the hug "I know you need it" She said and Branch reciprocated the hug.

"Thanks for that talk, Branch, I needed it" Vanessa broke the hug "You're welcome. That's were the friends for" Branch answered and they went back to the camp "Goodnight Branch" Vanessa said "Goodnight Vany" Branch said and both of them fallen sleep
