Tallu couldn't believe it. The weight of it all was suffocating. Her heart pounded in her chest as she stood frozen, staring at the place where they had once stood, where they had once laughed and fought together. It felt like a nightmare she couldn't escape from, a cruel twist of fate she couldn't wake up from no matter how hard she tried. Every moment was consumed by disbelief-Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, her closest friends, her source of light in the dark world , were gone. Gone forever. The war had taken them from her, just like it had taken so much from so many. She had sworn an oath to protect them, to fight by their side until the very end, but the end had come-brutal and final-and she hadn't been able to save them.

Her best friends, the ones who had always been there for her, the ones who had made her laugh even in the darkest times, had been swallowed by that godforsaken war. Tallu's chest tightened as the grief began to churn inside her. It wasn't just the loss of them-there was a gaping void where once there was love, camaraderie, and an unspoken understanding. Now she was alone. Completely, utterly alone.

In a burst of raw, unrestrained emotion, Tallu hurled a plate with all the force she could muster. It collided with the wall with a sharp crack, shattering into a million tiny shards that scattered across the floor. She didn't care. She picked up another plate, and then another, throwing them one after the other, but each shattered did nothing but f

No matter how many plates she smashed, no matter how many objects she threw at the wall, it wouldn't bring them back. Nothing would.

Her legs gave way beneath her, and Tallu collapsed to her knees, her hands pressed to her face as the tears finally came. The grief she had been holding back for so long came rushing forward, leaving her breathless, her throat raw from the sobs that tore through her. She had promised them, she had sworn she would always be there-but now, she was just left with this gaping emptiness, a hollowness so vast it threatened to consume her entirelit.

With a harsh breath, she shifted, and the two majestic wings that had been tucked beneath the delicate fabric of her nightgown unfurled. They slipped gracefully through the carefully hidden slits in the gown, each feather shimmering faintly in the dim light. The wings stretched out briefly, flexing as if savoring their freedom, before folding inward again, wrapping around her like a protective cocoon.

Anger suddenly surged within her, hot and fierce, but it was quickly replaced by a numbing sense of nothingness. It was as if every ounce of emotion had been drained from her, leaving only the cold, sharp edges of loss. And then, almost as if in answer to her despair, a strange warmth bloomed in her chest, unexpected and alien. It was subtle at first, just a gentle hum of energy that seemed to pulse through her veins, but then it grew, swirling into something more tangible. Her hands began to glow-soft, golden light that flickered like the dying embers of a fire.

Tallu's eyes widened, her breath caught in her throat. "What the fuck is happening?" she whispered, almost afraid to believe what she was seeing. Sparks flickered from her fingertips, falling like tiny fireflies, before dissipating into the air.She all ways knew he was a freak but this put the icing on the cake

And then, without warning, a golden ring appeared in front of her, a shimmering portal opening like a tear in reality itself. Tallu stared at it, disbelief written across her face.

Through the swirling light, she could see a strange, unfamiliar world-a place that felt both alien and oddly familiar. Tall, gleaming buildings reached high into the sky, their surfaces reflecting lights in colors she couldn't quite name. Strange vehicles sped along the roads, moving with a rapid, almost unnatural grace, while a throng of people walked casually down the sidewalk, oblivious to the spectacle unfolding before her. The scene was like something out of a futuristic dream, yet it felt almost dystopian-like a world where nothing quite made sense. It looked... almost like the future, but something about it felt wrong, out of place.

Tallu stared through the portal, her mind struggling to process the impossibility of it all. Was this real? Was this some kind of answer, or just another cruel illusion? She couldn't bring herself to look away, her heart pounding in her chest as the hum in her chest grew louder, more insistent. She had no idea where the portal led, but for the first time in what felt like an eternity, she felt the faintest stirring of hope.

She decided in that moment she would leave the memory of her best friends behind and start something new in the almost beautiful new world
