The days that followed Jihoon's visit felt different. The atmosphere between the three of them was lighter, yet Jisung couldn't shake the nagging feeling that the calm was merely the eye of the storm. Jihoon had begun to reach out more, sending messages and engaging in their group chats, but Jisung could sense the fragility beneath Jihoon's newfound openness.

As the weekend approached, Jisung found himself in a whirlwind of emotions. He and Minho had made plans to have another small get-together with Jihoon, wanting to keep the momentum going. Jisung felt hopeful but also anxious about what the evening would bring.

On the day of the gathering, Jisung spent the afternoon preparing, making a spread of comfort food that he hoped would bring a sense of warmth and familiarity. Minho helped him in the kitchen, and they exchanged playful banter as they cooked.

"Are you sure we need this much food?" Minho laughed, eyeing the array of dishes Jisung had prepared.

"It's Jihoon! He needs to know we care," Jisung replied, feeling a mix of determination and worry. "Besides, what if he's starving?"

Minho chuckled, shaking his head. "You really worry too much, you know that? But it's sweet."

As the hour drew closer, Jisung felt the butterflies in his stomach intensify. "What if he feels overwhelmed? I don't want to push him."

"Just be yourself," Minho reassured, gently squeezing Jisung's shoulder. "We're all here to support each other, and Jihoon will appreciate that."

When the doorbell rang, Jisung's heart raced. He exchanged a quick glance with Minho, both of them taking a deep breath before opening the door to reveal Jihoon, who wore a tentative smile.

"Hey, you two," Jihoon greeted, stepping inside. He took a moment to glance around, his expression softening at the sight of the welcoming atmosphere.

"Welcome! We made you dinner," Jisung said, gesturing toward the table laden with food.

"Wow, it looks amazing," Jihoon replied, his eyes lighting up with surprise.

As they sat down to eat, Jisung felt a sense of warmth envelop them. The three of them shared stories and laughter, and Jisung was relieved to see Jihoon easing into the moment. He seemed more relaxed than before, though Jisung still caught glimpses of the underlying tension in his posture.

After dinner, they migrated to the couch, where Jisung had set up a movie. The three of them settled in, with Jihoon in the middle, surrounded by the comfortable familiarity of friendship.

As the movie played, Jisung noticed Jihoon's gaze drifting away from the screen, lost in thought. Jisung shifted closer, brushing his shoulder against Jihoon's. "You okay?" he whispered, concern creeping into his voice.

Jihoon turned to him, his eyes reflecting a mixture of gratitude and vulnerability. "Yeah, just... thinking."

"About what?" Minho asked, leaning forward with genuine interest.

"I guess I'm just processing everything," Jihoon admitted, a frown creasing his brow. "It's nice to be here, but sometimes I feel guilty for not being okay. I don't want to burden you guys."

Jisung felt his heart ache for Jihoon. "You're not a burden. We're here because we care about you, no matter what you're going through."

"Yeah," Minho chimed in, his voice steady. "You don't have to pretend with us. We want to support you through the tough times."

"I appreciate that," Jihoon said softly, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "It's just hard to let go of this weight. I feel like I should be stronger."

"You're human, Jihoon," Jisung said, his voice firm yet compassionate. "It's okay to feel weak sometimes. We all have our struggles, and that doesn't make you any less of a person."

Jihoon nodded, but Jisung could see the internal battle playing out in his mind. "I want to be stronger, for you both," he said, his voice trembling slightly. "But I'm scared of what that means."

"What does it mean to you?" Minho asked, leaning in closer.

Jihoon took a deep breath, his fingers fidgeting in his lap. "It means confronting my feelings, facing the things I've been avoiding. I want to be there for you, but I don't know how to do that when I can't even take care of myself."

"That's where we come in," Jisung said, warmth flooding his chest. "You don't have to face this alone. We're in this together, remember?"

Minho nodded in agreement. "Let's tackle this as a team. We'll help you find your way back, one step at a time."

Jihoon's gaze shifted between them, the vulnerability in his eyes deepening. "I don't want to drag you down. I care about both of you too much for that."

"Being there for you is not dragging us down," Minho said firmly. "It's part of being friends, being a family. We're here to lift each other up, even in the darkest moments."

Jisung felt a surge of affection for Minho, grateful for his unwavering support. He reached out and squeezed Jihoon's hand, grounding them in the moment. "You are not a burden, Jihoon. We'll figure this out together."

For a moment, the room fell silent, the weight of their words settling around them like a comforting blanket. Jihoon finally smiled, though it was tinged with uncertainty. "Okay. I'll try to let you in more. I just hope I don't break everything."

"You won't," Jisung reassured, his heart swelling with hope. "We're here to hold you up, not let you fall."

As the night wore on, they shared stories and laughter, weaving their bond tighter. Jihoon seemed to relax into the moment, and Jisung felt a flicker of hope in his chest, believing that maybe, just maybe, they could weather this storm together.

But beneath the surface, Jisung remained acutely aware of the fragility of their situation. Jihoon's journey was still unfolding, and the specter of his struggles loomed ever larger. They had taken a step forward, but Jisung couldn't shake the feeling that challenges lay ahead, testing the strength of their connection.

That night, as Jisung lay in bed next to Minho, he couldn't help but replay the evening in his mind. He felt a renewed sense of hope for Jihoon, but the tension remained, a silent reminder that the road to recovery was often riddled with obstacles.

"What if it's not enough?" Jisung whispered, breaking the silence that hung between them.

Minho turned to him, concern etched on his face. "What do you mean?"

"What if we can't help him as much as we want to? What if he falls back into that dark place?"

Minho reached out, brushing his fingers against Jisung's cheek. "We're doing everything we can. And remember, it's a journey. It won't be perfect, but we'll face it together."

Jisung nodded, feeling comforted by Minho's words. But deep down, he knew the journey wouldn't be easy. There would be moments of doubt, of fear, and of heartache.

As he drifted off to sleep, he vowed to stay strong for both Jihoon and Minho, no matter what the future held.
