Doppio, and Trish

Hey doppio do you want to go to the park after dinner" Trish asked looking over at the boy. Doppio was wearing his favorite frog printed overalls and sun hat. Yeah, can we go to the pond and see the frogs" doppio asked standing up from his spot at the table. Yep, you jest need to finish your dinner" Trish said pointing at the rest of the food on doppio's plate. With out hesitation doppio finished his food. Doppio was a good little, he rarely put up a fight and always did what asked. All done" doppio said looking at Trish who was putting away her plate in the dishwasher. Okay, why don't you go get your shoes on and tell me if you need any help" Trish said cleaning up doppio's plate. After cleaning up from dinner I went to check on doppio. Little one where did you go" Trish said seeing he wasn't at the front door. Up here" doppio said from the stair case. He was holding his small color changing frog.
Okay let's get going" Trish said. The two got in the car and drove off to the park. The weather was nice not too hot or too cold.

Once they got there Trish pulled into a parking spot.Why don't we leave that here sweetie, we don't want him to get lost" Trish said helping him out of the car seat. Okay" doppio said placing the frog in the cup holder in his car seat. Will the frogs be there" doppio asked looking at the small pond that was next to the park. They might be going to bed but we can see" Trish said holding doppio's hand. They went to there usual spot at the bench. Froggy's go to bed too " doppio asked swinging his feet. Yes all animals go to sleep, some alimals even do the opposite there called nocturnal which means they sleep during the day and are awake at night" Trish said. Are Froggy's nocturnal?" Doppio asked. Well some of them are but I know someone who knows more then me" Trish said. Who, is it gio-gio" doppio asked. Yep, how about tomorrow we go see him" Trish said. Yes" doppio said. Look froggy " doppio said bringing up from a spot and kneeling towards the frog. Don't scare it away" Trish said. I won't " doppio said placing his hand out to great the frog. The frog slowly went on doppio's hand and closed his big eyes. Look mama, it's sleepy" Doppio said. Aw let's put him down so he can get some rest " Trish said knowing if they stay here there won't be any time to go play. Can we go swing" doppio asked. Yeah let's go" Trish said getting up and walking up to the playground swing set. Doppio ran ahead and took a seat on one of the swing. Doppio pushed his legs back and forth but that didn't satisfy him. Can you push me please" doppio asked. I sure can" Trish said. After a while doppio got board and asked to be stopped. Can we go down the slide " doppio asked pointing towards the big red swirly slide. Mhm I'll wait at the bottom" Trish said. Doppio ran to the top of the jungle gym to the entrance. Trish waited and waited and waited but no sign of doppio. Doppio are you alright " Trish said. No" doppio choked out. Do you want me to come down with you" Trish asked. No I want down" doppio said about to cry. Okay Mama's coming " Trish said. Trish ran up the small ladder towards doppio. What's wrong baby, everything's all right" Trish said bring doppio into a hug. To big" doppio said turning towards Trish so he couldn't see how high up he was. Hm why don't we try this instead" Trish said picking up doppio and walking to the opposite end of the structure where a small blue slide sat. It had a small turn but that was it small and simple. It didn't have any rough turn's and it was lower to the ground. Mama come down with me"doppio asked wiping the tears from his eyes. Sure, come sit on Mama's lap "Trish said taking a seat at the top of the slide. 1 2 3 " Trish said before holding her arms around doppio and going down the slide. Doppio sweetie you can open your eyes now" Trish said. You did it, good job" Trish said. Doppio grew a small smile on his face. Doppio went down the slide three more times before Trish said it was time to go While Walking to the car Trish pointed at some thing. Look doppio it's a frog family" Trish said pointing to a couple of frogs near a tree. Night night Froggy's" doppio said waving at the frog's. On the way back doppio held his toy frog and looked out the window to see the beautiful sunset.

The two had gone home and started to get ready for bed. Doppio laid in bed wearing his favorite frog themed onesie. Did you like the park" Trish asked placing a blanket over doppio. Yes I even got to see a frog family" doppio said. Yes you did" Trish said kissing doppio's nose before turning on the white noise and night light. Good night little froggy " Trish said blowing him a kiss from the doorway. Night night" doppio said hugging his frog stuffed animal.
