(Charlottes pov)
I was in the baby room on a usual boring Monday morning when a red head walked past the room;we held eye contact for around 3 seconds before it was ended with a wink from her as she walked past. "Carly who is the red head who just walked past the window?" i say turning my head away from the breakfast table. "Oh apparently it's some new person who's going too be the deputy at the other place i think she's called Mia" Carly replied.
No one knows about me and my husband yet, i don't think im ready too actually admit what has happened.My girls don't even fully understand what is going on they just think 'mummy and daddy are having a little break'.
The day went on and it was finally time for me too go home and see my babies. I tidied down the room and packed it away before heading too the staff room too get my bag. I grabbed my bag out of my locker before walking into Marjorie's and autumns office too say goodbye.
Too my surprise the unknown redhead is stood behind marjorie's desk on her phone and autumn wasn't there either. "Oh hello, do you know where Marjorie is?" i say calmly as i feel my cheeks blushing as i looking at the redhead. "Hello sweetheart, they have just left i'll be locking up tonight" the red head says. "Oh nevermind i'll speak too them tomorrow, i'm Charlotte by the way" i recite with a smile. "I'm Mia i'm the new deputy at the sister nursery but i've been asked too come here for this week" Mia says. "well it's nice too meet you Mia but i best get off and go pick up my daughters" i say putting my bag back over my shoulder. "see you around sweetheart bye now" The red had says gracefully flicking her hair over her shoulder.
I walked out of the office and through the car park too see the 2 cars parked next too eachother. There was my red jaguar and next too it was a matt black mustang.Im not surprised that's the car the Mia drives i mean just look at her.
I arrived at the girls school and walked through too the school hall where after school club was held.Maddie spotted me straight away and ran too me hugging my legs. " Mummy Mummy i missed you" Maddie says excitedly. Lainey finally spots me and stands up from the table she was sat at with her friends and runs over too me. "Mum!" she says also excitedly. "Aw hey girls how was your days?" I ask giving them both a kiss before walking out of reception and too the car "It was good" they both say .I put maddie in her car seat and look over at laineys out of instinct too check she was buckled in, "mum i'm not a baby i can fasten my own seatbelt" she says in a serious tone which makes me smile. "I know, i know but your always going too be my baby, you know that?" I say looking at her through the mirror. "Yes mum i know you tell me that practically every day".
We arrive at home and the girls go up to their bedrooms too get changed and wind down after being at school at day. I put their tea in the oven before finally sitting down and scrolling though my socials.
I got a notification from the nursery group chat which read 'Mia robert's was added too knight nursery group chat'. I smiled down at my phone at the thought of her before clicking on her number and adding it down in my contacts.
Afew hours later.
The girls had been fed and bathed and were in their pajamas ready for bed. We were all sat downstairs snuggled up on the sofa watching the telly with a blanket thrown over us. I looked up at the time which read 8:25pm. "Maddie baby it's time for bed now" I say putting my arms out for her so i could carry her up. "No mummy i want too stay up late with you and Lainey" she pleads. "I'm sorry baby but it's time for bed now how about you give Lainey and hug then we can go and read a story?" Her eyes light up as she hears the word story, honestly this girl and books "okay then, night night Lainey" Maddie says hugging her sister. "Night night Maddie". I smile at their interaction before standing up and lifting Maddie onto my hip "What story do you want too read baby?" i ask already knowing it will be the fish book. "Can we read the fish one pleaseeee?" she says with pleading eyes. " Maddie we read the fish book every night are you sure you don't want too pick a new one?" "Nope i'm sure the fishy one" Maddie says confidently.
Finally 2 hours later both of the girls are in bed and are fast asleep so i can finally have some down time. I lay out on my bed before digging through my pajamas and grabbing a pair. I change into them and walk into the ensuit and brush my teeth and do my skincare. Now i can finally sleep.
