After the loss of their child, both Autumn and Winter felt like giving up, they thought they would never be able to become parents. Their loss broke their hearts and to this day, Autumn still felt guilty. "I'm so sorry Winter, this was all my fault." Autumn would often repeat this sentence, with tears pouring from her eyes. Even though Winter was devastated, he had to stay strong for his girl. "My love, don't blame yourself, we both know it wasn't your fault." He would say as he held his then girlfriend close. These moments would always end with them either cuddling in bed, or with Autumn falling asleep on her lover's chest on the sofa.

One particular night, where Autumn was feeling heartsore, Winter had thought of an idea that may help Autumn with her grieving. The next day after work, Winter bought some fake white flowers and a few garden decorations. As Autumn arrived home from work that night, she was greeted by her lover holding these new items. "What's all this for?" Autumn asked softly as she put her bag down by the door. "I thought this may be good for you, let's go outside my love."

Winter held his hand out and the two walked outside together. He led them both to a secluded corner behind a few bushes and placed the items on the ground. "My love, I have bought these small things for us, and I thought we could make a little garden, for our little angel." Autumn's eyes widened, she could feel herself getting emotional. "My sweet, you didn't need to do this." She said as she held his hands. "I thought it would be a good thing for us both, it can be a way for us to grieve, but will ensure that our angel won't ever be forgotten." By this point, Winter was starting to tear up, he wasn't one to often show emotion but this was an important moment for him and his girlfriend.

Autumn wiped away the tear on Winter's cheek and pulled him in for a gentle kiss. "Thank you, my sweet. I love you." Winter smiled softly. "Shall we get started then?" They shared one more kiss before sitting down together. Autumn rummaged through the items that Winter had gathered and all she could do was smile. She pulled out a little house made from a small log, which was decorated with intricate details. She also spotted a small fairy statue, as well as a tiny dinosaur. At the bottom of the bag, there was also many white pebbles, which Autumn had poured onto the ground, spreading them around. "This is perfect" she whispered to herself.

Winter picked up the small house and placed it in the little garden area, Autumn then followed, placing the pebbles to form a path to the house. Unfortunately, they were unable to find out the gender of their angel baby, which led to Winter buying both girly and masculine items. Autumn picked up the dinosaurs, and scattered them around the garden, being very mindful as to where she placed them. Winter gently picked up the fairy statue, but to his surprise, he had spotted a black cat statue which must have been packaged together with the fairy. He showed it to Autumn and whispered, "It was meant to be." They smiled as they thought of their kitten Cadaver, and watched as Winter placed the statues next to the path.

The couple spread the white flowers around, creating a comforting environment. Once all of the items had been placed, Winter pulled out a small angel figurine and handed it to his love. "I think you should be the one to welcome our angel to their new home." He said with a smile. Autumn felt her eyes well up with tears as she placed the final piece of the garden. "Welcome home little one." The two stood up and Winter opened his arms, allowing Autumn to hold him close as she kept crying. "I'm so proud of you, my love" he said as he kissed her forehead gently.

From that day onwards, Winter would often find Autumn sitting in the garden, talking to their angel. He would always join and listen to how his girl spoke to their child. Her voice was always so sweet and calming. A few months later, Autumn found out she was pregnant once again, as she cried from this news, all she could think about was her lover and her angel. That night, as Winter returned home from work, he found Autumn crying in their bedroom. "My love, are you okay?" He looked concerned, and went to sit next to her. Autumn wiped her tears before placing the positive pregnancy test in Winter's hand. Winter stared at this test before pulling his girl in for a tight hug. "I can't believe it." He whispered. "I'm still in shock" Autumn said before she pulled away from the hug, holding Winter's free hand. "Should we go and tell our angel?" Winter suggested. "I think that's a wonderful idea, my sweet." Autumn said with a smile.

As they approached the garden, all they could do was smile. "Hello my little love." Autumn started as the two sat down side by side. "We've got some news, and we felt it would be best if you found out first." She looked over at Winter and smiled. "You're gonna have a sibling, little angel." Winter started tearing up. "Once they're old enough, we'll make sure they will spend time with you. Your mummy and daddy love you so much, and we always will." Winter placed one hand on his girl's stomach as they continued talking to their angel, telling them about their future plans and ideas.
