The days passed, each one bringing new lessons, new faces, and strange new insights about the galaxy around me. The Jedi Temple became my home base, though "home" felt like too strong a word. I tried to follow along with the Council's instructions, absorbing their lessons and attempting to wrap my head around this concept of the Force.

One morning, Master Yoda summoned me to a meditation chamber. It was quiet, with only the soft hum of the Temple in the background. He spoke gently, but his words were clear and direct.

"A connection to the Force, deeply rooted within you, I sense. Much like young Skywalker's, strong it is. But different, yes. Untrained"

I felt a strange shiver hearing him say that. Untrained. The word rang with both promise and responsibility. This power had brought me here, saved me, but I was still as lost as ever. "What do you mean, Master Yoda?" I asked.

"The Force calls to you, it does. Paths before you, it reveals, if only you listen" He handed me a smooth crystal, as clear as glass but glowing faintly in my hand. "Feel it. Listen, and see"

I closed my eyes, breathing deeply as he instructed, letting my mind quiet. The crystal grew warm, and suddenly, it was as if a door had opened. For a moment, I glimpsed something—a flash of faces, places, moments. Stars danced, spinning as if I were traveling through them. The intensity faded as quickly as it had come, leaving me breathless and dazed.

"An important choice, you face" Yoda murmured, his tone contemplative. "Decide now, if this path, you wish to pursue. Training as a Jedi, discipline and sacrifice, it requires"

The weight of his words settled on me. The idea of training to become a Jedi felt foreign, overwhelming, but there was something inside me that resonated with it, that wanted to pursue it. "I don't know if I'm ready," I said honestly, "but... I want to understand. I want to try."

Yoda nodded approvingly. "In trying, much you will discover. Begin we shall, with simple exercises" His instructions were to the point but spoken with care, guiding me through the first steps of sensing the Force within and around me. I could feel it. A quiet hum in my bones, like an electric current linking me to something larger.

As I completed the exercise, a familiar voice interrupted from the doorway.

"Finished already?" Anakin leaned against the frame, arms crossed, a slight smirk on his face. "Guess that means you're ready for a sparring session"

I stood, a bit wobbly from the intensity of the meditation, but grinned back at him. "Guess I am"

Yoda nodded, his expression warm but focused. "Go. More you will learn, in training together"

Anakin led me down the Temple halls to an empty training room, his expression serious. "You did well back there" he said as we reached the room. "Meditation's a tough first step. Now let's see how well you handle combat practice"

We readied ourselves, and Anakin didn't hold back, his moves swift and intense. It took everything I had to keep up. After dodging a particularly close strike, I took a breath and asked, "Why are you so intense about all of this?"

He paused, lowering his stance as his gaze softened. "Because I see potential in you" he said seriously. "But also... I know how dangerous the path can be. I don't want you to go through what I did unprepared"

A silence hung between us, thick with unspoken history. I wanted to ask more, but something told me it wasn't the right time. Instead, I nodded.

The months that followed were filled with intense training, each session revealing more of the Force's mysteries. My connection to it grew stronger, and so did my bond with Anakin. With every lesson from Yoda and every sparring match with Anakin, I felt the pieces of this strange new world start to fit together, guiding me closer to understanding the ways of the Jedi.

Then, one morning, I was called before the Jedi Council. I could sense the weight of the masters' gazes as they observed me, assessing my progress.

Master Windu leaned forward. "Stella, you have demonstrated both resilience and an openness to the Force. However, the path of a Jedi requires commitment. It is a path of discipline, and of purpose"

Master Yoda's voice joined his, calm but firm. "A unique journey, yours will be. A connection to the Force, strong but untrained, and dangerous without guidance" He looked toward Anakin, who stood beside me, as if confirming an unspoken understanding.

"Knight Skywalker," Windu addressed Anakin, "the Council believes that you should serve as Stella's mentor. You have already forged a bond of trust, and your own journey has given you perspective on those who start from different beginnings"

Anakin stiffened for a moment. I looked up at him, surprised, but he quickly composed himself and nodded.

"Thank you, Masters" he said, his tone respectful but tinged with an edge of determination. "I'll do everything I can to guide her"

When we left the Council chambers, Anakin was staring down at the polished floor, lost in thought.

"So... you're officially my teacher now?" I asked, breaking the silence.

He nodded, meeting my gaze with a faint smile. "It looks like it. I'll warn you now, I don't always do things by the book"

I laughed, feeling the tension ease a little. "I think I can handle it"

He grew serious, his eyes intense. "The Council sees something in you, Stella. So do I. But this path won't be easy. There's so much more to the Force than you've seen, and there are... darker things out there, too"

The weight of his words settled over me, and I nodded, feeling a surge of determination. "I'll do my best, Master"
