Ellis continued down the path, noticing there's a muddy surprise on the other side of the path.
"Hey!" Goldie exclaimed, his sudden presence making Ellis turn around quickly.
With a hint of guilt in his voice, Goldie continued, "Sorry, I...uh...kind of left you there for a bit."
With a nod of understanding, Ellis gave a thumbs up gesture, conveying that all was well. Goldie looked around at the muddy surroundings and let out a sigh, commenting, "Yeesh, there's mud everywhere."
He then plopped down onto the ground, ending up in a muddy spot. Using his vines, he quickly crafted a makeshift bridge, creating a path for Ellis to cross over without getting too dirty.
Ellis navigated his way gingerly across the makeshift bridge, trying not to stumble and fall in the process. He managed to cross it relatively unscathed, only almost tripping once but maintaining his balance.
As Ellis glanced at Goldie, an idea formed in his mind. He unzipped his backpack and retrieved a small gardening knife. With a quick move, he snatched hold of Goldie's stem.
"HEY, HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Goldie panicked.
Ellis carefully dug the knife into the earth, seeking out the hidden roots of Goldie. The plant's eyes closed tightly as he braced himself for what was about to happen.
Ellis then surveyed the surroundings, spotting a nearby flower pot. With a swift move, he gently placed Goldie inside, settling him comfortably within the pot.
Goldie let out a soft exclamation of surprise as he opened one eye and realized his new surroundings. "Oh," he said, a hint of confusion in her voice. He mustered a weak "Tthhaaannnkkkss...?" struggling to find the right words.
After ensuring that Goldie was secure, Ellis continued his journey along the path. However, their quiet moment was suddenly interrupted by the sight of a bat boy, napping upside down.As they carefully tried to avoid disturbing him, Ellis accidentally stepped on a FUCKING twig, creating a loud "SNAP!!" (Nice going, bitch boy😒)
The bat boy was abruptly awakened by the loud noise and let out a sharp hiss, its beady eyes fixing on Ellis.
Ellis remained motionless, his lips slightly parted as he was just about to tell Goldie to stay quiet and still, but before he could utter a word, Goldie transformed into a normal flower. Ellis muttered "show off" under his breath.
The bat boy, his sharp senses on high alert, took to the air, scanning the surrounding area. His voice cut through the silence as he called out, "I know you're there... Show yourself!" His eyes darted around, searching for any signs of movement or hidden presences.
The bat boy let out a frustrated sigh before releasing a deafening screech, causing Ellis to stumble and lose his balance.
The bat boy exclaimed triumphantly, "Ahah! A human!" His eyes widened in realization as he spotted Ellis.
Ellis bolted forward, desperate to escape the bat boy's pursuit. He darted into a nearby cave filled with snow and ice. However, the bat boy, closing in behind him, let out another screech that triggered a series of ice spikes to fall from the cave's roof.
Ellis dodged and weaved, trying his best to avoid being impaled by the sharp, icy projectiles. As Ellis plummeted through the hole, his grip on Goldie slipped, causing them both to fall.
(holy shit its undertale)
Goldie, just waking up, quickly caught on to their situation and used his vines to cling onto Ellis, slowing their descent and softening the impact of their landing.
After a brief moment, Ellis and Goldie finally reached the end of their fall, landing in a soft pile of snow. The cold, white powder puffed up around them, creating a momentary cloud of fluff before settling down.
