Floyd gave Poppy a box of names. Last year, they had random people give gifts to whoever they got. Poppy, as the queen, decided she wanted to do it again. :3
"Alright, Queen Poppy, here's the box of names. But you told me to include only our families. Why not the whole village?" Floyd asked curiously.
Poppy chuckled and replied, "Oh, Floyd, families can choose whatever they want this year for Christmas. The gift swap will be just for us."
"Oh, well that's amazing! should we give the random names to everyone now?" Floyd chuckles.
"Oh yes! please do, but not for Branch!" Poppy replied back.
Floyd turns back to Poppy with a curious face, "Huh? why not branch?"
Poppy sighs, "Well, since last year I didn't get him a gift, I decided I gift something for branch."
Floyd smiles, "Ofc you can give him a gift, he'll love it!"
poppy smiles back, "Thanks floyd no wonder why branch loves you."
Meanwhile branch with Bruce and his family
"So, Poppy and I are inviting you guys to the Christmas family hangout..." Branch said to Bruce and his family.
Bruce smiles, "Ofc we would love to go! I want to spend time with my brothers!"
"Sure, we'll come." Brandy smiles.
Bruce smirks, "So you and poppy are putting your families together because you two will end up together."
Branches face turns red, "No! were just wanna spend time together and get to know more about our families!!!" He shouts.
Bruce and brandy smirk at each other when branch turned red.
"Anyways, we were wondering if you guys need help with the food?" Brandy asks.
"Oh yes! i forgot about the food! we do need help in fact." Branch replied.
"Me and bruce would love to help out with the snacks, every year we make this special turkey and salads and amazing new meals every year." Brandy smiles.
Branch smiles relzing that he finally found some help for food, "gee, thanks!"
Meanwhile with Floyd and poppy,
"Okay, so bruce is gonna gift john dory, Brandy will gift Viva, and my dad will gift clay, wonderful!" Poppy noted in her notebook.
"So, who are we gonna gift?" Floyd questions.
"Im doing branch, because I want to, and your doing My grandma, but whos gonna do your grandma Lee?" Poppy replied.
Floyd realizes he forgot to find someone to gift grandma lee, "Oh no, we don't have anyone left! Grandma lee will be so sad!"
Poppy opens her notebook and flips through the pages to see who's left. "I guess we have to invite someone random or find a relative!"
Floyd nods, agreeing with poppy, "Yes! we need to ask john dory he knows everyone in our family like no one else!"
poppys eye widen, "Oh, I think I know who to invite!"
Poppy checks her notebook and smiles.
"CRIMP!" She shouts out.
"Crimp? but shes not family!" Floyd says in curious why poppy chose crimp.
"Well, I remember crimp, when me, Branch, and tiny diamond went to save you and your brothers, we found crimp crying, she has no family." Poppy sighs.
"Oh yeah, I remember she wanted to help me, but stupid Vevelt was so mean." Floyd replies as he remembers being captured by venner and Vevelt and watching crimp get hurt by them.
"lets invite her." Floyd smiles.
"Okay, but we gotta mail the inviton to her, Mount Rageous is far from troll village." Poppy notes down.
Floyd nods agreeing with poppys plan.
Poppy was proud of her plan, the family could finally all equally get their gifts together, but Poppy started to think, What will she get for Branch as a gift? how will she make her boyfriend happy like he did to her? will she find the perfect gift? or she will end up upsetting Branch?
