Me and Melissa walk around the mall to find a restaurant. We were spending most of our time walking around, trying to find a restaurant we liked.
Eventually I spotted a place that I'd like and tugged at Melissa's sleeves.

"Hmm? What is it Tsukasa? Have you found a place where we could eat?"

I nod and pointed over to the Steakhouse that we just passed by. "I want to have Steak tonight."

"Then Steak it is!" Melissa says while grabbing my hand enthusiastically. She then stops for a moment and looks me dead in the eye. "Tsukasa, won't this be expensive?"

A little shocked from her answer, I could only give a short response. "Ah..." before my stomach growled in hunger. Melissa just sighed and said. "Well I do have some money saved up, so why not."

We went into the resaurant. Melissa asked the waitress for a table of two. The waitress nodded to us with a warm welcoming smile, leading us to a table near the balcony that was situated outside of the restaurant.

"Have a seat ma'am!" The waitress smiled while handing us the menu books. "Just call me if you're ready to place your order."

Melissa nodded and we skimmed over the menu. Well, it's mostly just her as I was too busy looking to my right. Melissa noticed me staring into the horizon and asked. "Hmmm? Tsukasa are you not going to order?"

I look back at her as if I was snapped out of a trance and suttered. "A-ah yeah." I turn again to my right, overlooking the beautiful ivory shine of the moon, and the stars of the night sky shining upon the sea water as if bouncing on its waves and dazzling me with their pretty celestial light. "The sea... it's so beautiful at night." I smile.

I turn to Melissa who smiles back at me. "I know. I too become infatuated with how beautiful our county can become at night. The beautiful city lights contrasting with the cold, yet serene shine of the night sky. It's amazing. You'll feel a strange sense of ease here, that of which you won't get had you stayed in a city."

Under the shine of the bright moon me and Melissa locked eyes and the world around us slows down to a halt, as if time has stopped. I could feel my heart beating faster and faster as I stare deeper into her eyes. The more I stare, the more I feel connected to her soul, and her heart. A heart, a soul filled with love, understanding, and a sweetness only a lovestruck maiden like me could understand.

I wanted to stare at her forever. I wanted to burn her beautiful image into my mind forever and ever. That is until.....

"Good evening ladies! May I take your order now?"
Grrrr.... the waitress had to interrupt our happy moment!

Melissa was taken aback by the waitress' sudden interruption and took a moment to clear her throat.
*Ahem* "Y-yes. Tsukasa have you decided on what you want to eat?"

"Ah! Wait, hold on!" Shoot! I got too carried away with my sorroundings that I forgot to pick my order!
I fumbled around the menu book before skimming its contents. I ended up choosing the spaghetti with meatballs and the grilled steak.

Melissa states her order afterward. "I'll have the same steak as her, but without the spaghetti. Just the steak."

The waitress nodded and jotted down our orders in her notepad. "Drinks?" She asked.

"I'll just have water." Melissa stated.

"I want lemonade!" I smiled, chiming in to state my order.

"Alright then! Just wait for a few minutes and we'll have your order."

The waitress then took our menu books and left to the kitchen.
