I was occupied with my emails when suddenly a notification appeared on my screen from my messenger, alerting me that I had received a message. Confused as I didn't know who it was but I had a hunch about who it might be

Well, on this late night no one would message me except for her. I opened my messenger and I'm right, it was her. It was a gift saying good morning then followed by her three messages.

First of all, she gave herself that nickname. Second, she acts like that every morning-though from my perspective, it's every night. Third, I don't think I can get used to it because, to be honest, I think she's a bit crazy. It's been five years since we last saw each other, and she wasn't lying when she said she would reach out to me on any social media.

Now, here's how we communicate. She always texts me first since our time doesn't match. We usually have an hour or two to chat because she's concerned about me not getting enough sleep, and sometimes she even wakes up at midnight just to send me a message.

She didn't even let me respond. Even in chat she's talkative. I can hear her voice just by reading her message. I'm not complaining. This is better than no communication at all.
