Two years had passed since Aman and Trisha last saw each other. The misunderstanding that drove them apart still lingered, and Aman's wounds had not fully healed. Now, they found themselves in the same American college, fate playing a cruel joke on them.

Trisha, determined to make amends, approached Aman with a hesitant smile. "Aman, I...I'm so sorry for what happened back then. I was blind and foolish. Please forgive me."

Aman's expression remained cold, his eyes avoiding hers. "You didn't understand me then, Trisha. Why should I believe you do now?"

Trisha's eyes pleaded for forgiveness. "Because I know the truth now. I was wrong to doubt you. I want to make it right."

Aman's gaze finally met hers, but his voice was firm. "You want to make it right? After all this time? I don't think so, Trisha. You had your chance."

Trisha's face fell, but she refused to give up. "Aman, please listen-"

"No, Trisha. I won't relive the past. I've moved on." Aman turned to leave, but Trisha grasped his arm.

"Moved on? You're still hurting, Aman. I can see it in your eyes. Don't deny it."

Aman's eyes flashed with anger, but Trisha stood her ground.

"Fine. Maybe I am hurting. But it's not your concern anymore, Trisha. You made your choice."

Trisha's voice cracked. "I was wrong, Aman. I know that now. Give me a chance to prove it."

Aman's expression softened ever so slightly, but his voice remained resolute. "I can't, Trisha. Too much time has passed. I need to focus on my future now."

Trisha's eyes welled up with tears as Aman gently removed her hand from his arm and walked away not before glancing at her .

Looking tears in her eyes he felt someone snatched his breath away. But he composed himself determined by his act.

Trisha felt a shiver run down her spine as she walked across campus. She had been sensing someone's gaze on her for weeks, but every time she turned around, there was no one there. She had dismissed it as mere paranoia, but the feeling persisted.

She quickened her pace, her heart racing with every snap of a twig or rustle of leaves. She couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching her, following her every move.

As she sat in the library, Trisha tried to focus on her studies, but her eyes kept darting towards the windows, expecting to see a face peering back at her. She felt like she was losing her mind.

One evening, as she was leaving the library, Trisha noticed a figure lurking in the shadows. She froze, her heart pounding in her chest. The figure didn't move, didn't make a sound. It just stood there, watching her.

Trisha took a deep breath and forced herself to walk away. She didn't look back, didn't want to acknowledge the presence that seemed to be haunting her every step.

As she walked back to her dorm, Trisha felt a sense of unease settling in. Who was this person? What did they want from her? And why did she feel like she was being pulled into a web of obsession?

The questions swirled in her mind, but Trisha knew she had to push them aside. She couldn't let fear take over her life. She had to focus on her studies, her friends, and her future.
