( A few weeks later... )

"No, so tell me again exactly what you told her?" Win said to Orm from across her couch, sipping on her glass of wine

"Allow me, allow me" View interrupted. "I got to see it first hand, and at the time, I didn't even know what it was about."

Orm chuckled, Lingling put her arm around her girlfriend. Her right arm. Her now, free, un-casted arm.

Orm had gotten so busy with taking virtual interviews and speaking with commercial realtors in other cities these last 2 weeks, so Lingling took the opportunity to surprise her. She went to the doc herself on the day she had to get the cast removed, and then came home to surprise Orm.

Lingling had spent the rest of that evening cuddling Orm. She still wasn't clear for crazy activity then... and so they didn't have sex immediately. But the cuddling made up for it. They were both better for it.

3 sessions of physio therapy later and she was given the all clear to resume work, and even start riding again, as long as she kept up her exercises daily.

Lingling looked at Orm and smiled proudly now. She really was so proud of her girlfriend.

"Go on! I wanna hear it" Wisanuk said from where he was sitting on the arm rest of the couch beside Win 

"So this woman walks into the store, and Orm's at the counter right. She comes over and says 'hi, have you made a decision?' And Orm goes like, 'I have'. And Tina looks towards the back room, thinking maybe they'll need a private space to discuss further, but Orm simply offers her hand forward for a shake and says 'thank you for the offer Tina, but I have to decline. I have some dreams of my own I'd like to fulfill myself with this store'" View did the perfect job of imitating Orm .

Lingling looked at Orm again, she was glowing, the smile plastered on her face radiant.

"And then..." View continued "The woman smiled sadly to herself and said to Orm 'I told my bosses you'd be a tough one to crack. Well, too bad we can't have you work for us... but here's my card... I hope maybe one day we can work together at least. All the best' she says, and thanks Orm , and walks out"

"And scene!" Ying says and claps, and the rest start hooting and cheering, raising their glasses to Orm .

"To Orm !" Win said

"And to the Moonflower and all its success" Lingling added

"And to Lingling 's now free hand" Orm added

They all laughed and drank from their glasses. Andy had invited the whole gang over for dinner, and also decided with Lingling to make it a sort of celebration for Orm's decision to expand the Moonflower.

The group was all too happy to meet together and spend time catching up on each other's lives.

"Of course you'd toast to Lingling's hand" Nene teased Orm

"Shut up" Orm said, almost blushing.

Lingling bit her lip, and when the group got busy chattering amongst themselves Lingling leaned in and whispered to Orm's ear

"I got the all-clear for all activity" Lingling said, and then watched for Orm's reaction. Orm looked at her, her gaze moving from Lingling's eyes to her lips.
