"Mommy mommy, these are so pwetty" a little kid, about 5 years old, was peering over the yellow roses at The Moonflower and admiring them, and Orm couldn't help but smile at the sight.
"Come here, Matt, we're only picking up red roses today" his mom told him. The woman has strawberry blonde hair, and a little mole on her cheek.
"It's okay, let him take a few of those too, it's on me" Orm said to the lady who was currently taking her card out of her wallet.
"That's so kind of you" the lady said with a warm smile.
"AWESOME!" the little boy said, picking out a few roses and bringing them up to the counter
"What do we say, Matt?" his mom asked him
"Thank you" the boy said, looking up at Orm with the widest grin. It was contagious, the smile.
As soon as they moved away from the counter to leave, Orm waved goodbye to the boy and he waved back enthusiastically, grinning from ear to ear.
Orm thought about the day her own little angel could run around this store and admire and learn about these flowers.
The next customer in line was a lady who looked well into her 60s. Maybe late 50s.
"Hi, welcome to the Moonflower. What can I help you with?" Orm said
The lady smiled, and Orm saw something familiar in that smile. She couldn't quite put a finger on it though.
"That was really kind of you... what you did for the kid..." the lady said, pointing back at the two who'd just left the store.
"Oh it was nothing. He's a sweet boy" Orm said. There was an awkward silence then between them
"Umm.. would you like to look around and see what flowers you'd like to get?" Orm asked "Or I could suggest something if you wanna tell me what's the occasion..."
"Actually... Orm..." the woman said
Orm wondered for a moment how the woman knew her name. The regulars that came to her store knew her by name, but Orm had never seen this customer here before.
"...I'm here to see you" the woman said, again, a hesitant smile on her face.
"Oh... I'm sorry... have we met before?" Orm asked
"Not really. I'm Dhew. Dhew Sirilakwong" the woman said.

"No, I need it engraved on the inside..." Lingling said over the phone
Bow smiled at Jaja. Lingling had shared her plans with them. Not of her own will. They'd basically gotten too curious about her activities recently and they drilled it out of her eventually.
"That's right" Lingling said
"Great"
"Yep"
"I'll come pick it up soon"
"Thank you" Lingling said and then hung up.
