The screen showing Jinah vanished, and the dokkaebi grinned, its tone smug. "How is it? Interesting?"

No one responded to the creature. Instead, people were slowly backing away from each other as the grim reality began to set in. Fear and uncertainty filled the air.

[Name] clenched their teeth, their mind racing as they tried to think of a way to kill someone. They didn't want to resort to something brutal in fear of hurting themselves, like beating someone to death, and doubted they had the strength to strangle someone who could be stronger than them. But they had to figure it out; Jinah needed them to survive even if it meant making allies.

[Name] scanned the faces in the car, mentally categorizing people into "kill" or "can't kill." They still had limits; they wouldn't go after the kids. Even in this nightmare, they wouldn't cross that line.

Then something caught their eye—a young man crouched in front of an elderly lady with an arrogant smirk on his face. "Shit. I'm in a bad mood, and this lady keeps whining and groaning! Won't you shut up?"

[Name] raised an eyebrow at the scene. They shouldn't have been surprised that someone would target the elderly or children first—those two groups were the most vulnerable here. But they still couldn't bring themselves to stoop to that level.

The young man seemed to be a student, dressed in a school uniform with white hair. Narrowing their eyes, [Name] noticed the name badge pinned to his uniform: Kim Namwoon.

[Name] took a deep breath, held it for a moment, thinking over their options, then slowly exhaled. Kim Namwoon had a willingness to do whatever it took, a trait [Name] believed was necessary in this situation. Making the teenager an ally could be useful. If not, they will get rid of him. They need strong people to get through this and find their sister and keep her safe.

"Didn't I tell you to shut up?" Kim Namwoon, clearly agitated, grabbed the elderly woman by the collar, causing her to stumble as her weak legs struggled to keep her steady. His hand shot through the air.

Normally, someone would have stepped in to stop him, but now, nobody moved. Soon, the slaps turned into punches. Watching him, [Name] started to second-guess the idea of allying with him. His actions showed he could do what needed to be done, but he also seemed like a loose cannon, someone who might be dangerous without someone to keep him in check.

"S-Save me...! Save me...!" the old woman cried, her voice barely cutting through the heavy silence. Namwoon didn't stop. [Name] sighed, rubbing their temple as they noticed that no one else looked willing to help. Typical, they thought, knowing people were inclined to protect themselves first in desperate situations.

Their eyes widened slightly as they saw someone step forward—the same man who had tried to bribe the dokkaebi earlier. [Name] was a bit surprised to see him intervene.

"Young man, for you to be treating an elder like this...!" the man shouted, his voice shaky but determined as he confronted Namwoon.

All the man got in response was a mocking voice. "Mister, do you want to die?"

"...What?" The man blinked, clearly caught off guard and confused.

"You still don't get what's going on?" Namwoon asked.

"What kind of nonsense is this brat saying?" the man retorted angrily.

Kim Namwoon just laughed at him, then pointed up at the ceiling of the subway car. "Can't you see that?"

Everyone's eyes turned to the ceiling, where a holographic screen was displaying scenes of chaos and violence.
