Ruined x Jel : Rock Paper Scissors

Ruined stumbled through the door, tie loosened around his neck and eyes heavy. Work today was a lot more hectic than usual and it started to show on his body. Taking his shoes off with loud sighs he flopped onto the couch face first. Letting his body relax from today's stress. Slowly he let sleep consume him, letting his dreams create his solace.

He slowly woke up to the smell of food cooking, 'looks like she's home' Ruined thought. He rounded the corner and saw his girlfriend, Jel, dancing around the kitchen quietly making their favourite dish. Even though Jel can't cook to save her life, she still tries for them. Ruined watches Jel with a fond heart until Jel almost jumps out the window realizing that she was being watched.

"RUINED", Jel screams while clutching her chest, "I thought you were sleeping, what the fuck I almost died". Ruined was doubled over with laughter, tears streaming down his face, "Sorry babe, you looked like you were having fun I didn't want to stop you".
Jel huffs playfully and goes back to the stove, only to realize she burned the food. Pouting slightly he looks at Ruined with apologetic eyes, "Looks like I burned the food again – sorry baby I wanted to make your favourite because it looked like work was tough today". Ruined's heart bursts with adoration for his girlfriend.

"Work was rough today babe, you didn't have to cook though I just need you", Ruined mumbled into Jel's neck, "thank you for trying though". Ruined places soft butterfly kisses on Jel's face to stop her from frowning at the burnt food. "I know...," Jel sighs in Ruined's arms, "I just wanted it to be edible this time". Ruined's lips curl into a small smile, "How about we order some food, watch a movie, and drink. Yeah?"

"Only if we order from the best barbeque place-"

"Justin Jollyrancher's", Ruined interrupts with a shit-eating grin.

Jel narrows her eyes, "No. I was going to say Annie Applebottom's before I was rudely interrupted". Ruined looks back at Jel with challenging eyes, "Annie's will never beat Justin's and you know it". Jel raises her eyebrows, shocked, "Honey" she says condescendingly, "how many times must you lie to yourself. You know what I forgive you, work must've been so rough you forgot that Annie's is best".

"Darling", Ruined says trying to contain his laughter, "maybe you inhaled too much smoke while you were cooking, but it's alright we know that Justin Jollyrancher's is much better".
Jel laughs mockingly at Ruined and snorts, "Uh huh sure sweetheart whatever floats your boat". Ruined retorts, "My boat is very floaty thank you for asking".

"You know there's only one way to settle this," Jel whispers while trailing her fingers across Ruined's button-down shirt. Ruined melts into Jel's touch, "Hmm and what way is that buttercup?"

Jel starts nosing Ruined neck and peppering small kisses against his jaw, pushing Ruined into the counter and wrapping her arms around his neck. "With a good...old fashioned...," Jel trails off, slightly leaning back, "ROCK PAPER SCISSORS".      (Umm☠️ I'm not sorry)

Ruined jumps back, a smirk on his face, expecting Jel's response as they do this almost every week. Shooting out his hand in paper expecting Jel's hand to be rock. But when Jel's hand appears to be in scissors he falters. 'This is new.' Ruined thinks to himself. Jel cackles, "YOU THOUGHT". Jumping around their apartment in glee for winning this time. Ruined watches Jel with a toothy smile thinking 'I'm so lucky for this dork.'.

"Alright alright calm down," Ruined says while wrapping his arms around Jel's waist, "can you order the food while I go shower?".

Jel melts into Ruined's touch, "Of course baby, what do you want?".

Ruined quips, giving Jel a chaste kiss on the lips he heads towards their bedroom. "Finally I get a kiss, I haven't seen you all damn day," Jel throws back while giving Ruined a sweet smile.
