As the saying goes; When one story ends, another begins. Those who have come before, will leave the trail for those yet to come to follow, whether they know it or not. Whether they want to or not. And here, one trail left behind by the first silly creature whose heart had been touched by the fraggles, would soon be followed by another silly creature. However, she would change the trail's direction, to go where no silly creature had ever been before; Into Fraggle Rock. This silly creature was named Selena. She had always dreamed of being a scientist, but in many respects, she was an explorer by nature. Selena was curious about how the world around her worked, and had a deep respect for all living things. This same curiosity would eventually lead her to a new world to discover for herself.

Selena's story began in one of the hottest summers she could remember, on her first ever research camping trip. But sadly, had no one to accompany her. So, she would have to make do with being her own company. Unfortunately, this was the norm for a girl like her. She never really had anyone who stuck around her long enough to call a friend. The only ones she counted on as true companions were animals she had helped. While she certainly seemed to always be by herself, she was never really alone.

"Compass, check. Water flask, check. Trail map, check. That should be everything on the list." Selena assured herself, rummaging through her backpack for one last gear check.

"What a day this will be! I wonder what I'll come across first. Maybe I'll find more swallowtails, or maybe there'll be a white tailed deer! I better have my journal ready."

Once she was sure everything was in order, she set off to embark on her journey. All around her, there were lush bushels of green leaves and ruby red berries, birds singing in near perfect harmony, and kaleidoscopes of butterflies she grew ever more fascinated by. Selena walked along the mostly quiet trails of the forest with a large camping bag filled with everything she needed. She navigated with a compass in one hand, while the other held a map of what had shown to be an entire forested area uninhabited by nothing but wildlife. That was.. Until she happened upon a peculiar wooden cabin. It wasn't some rotting, rundown cabin home like those old ghost stories most would tell to scare young children. There were some vines on one of the outer walls, but it looked awfully cozy, lit on the inside, and it didn't even seem that old.

"Huh. Wonder who lives there..." She wondered out loud, as her curiosity slowly started to get the better of her. "I know it's not the smartest idea.. But maybe if it's just a quick peek.."

She was able to convince herself without much effort, and her feet began to move towards the cabin without thinking. The steps creaked under her hiking boots, and there was a harsh, smoky stench emitting from the half opened window. Of course, Selena wasn't nosey enough to simply waltz in uninvited. So, she knocked on the door, which was followed by the sounds of clinking glass and crashing boxes. Selena jumped back, her hands in front of her as if preparing to protect herself. More and louder sounds came closer to the door, until it opened, revealing a slightly scuffed up and gray haired taller man in a fishing vest and brown bucket hat

"Huh? Who's there?" The man questioned harshly, looking around the property. His clouded, light blue eyes never seemed to meet Selena's. "Who's there, ey? I'm busy here!"

"Uh, h.. Hello, sir." Selena nervously greeted, trying to keep a friendly demeanor. "A.. do you live around here?

"Hmm? Oh, a child." The old man seemed annoyed, his eyes darting to the source of the voice. "Yes, yes. Who might you be? Why are you on my property?"

The property itself was neatly kept in terms of vegetation. Scattered patches of wildflowers perfuming the area, and trees greener than the grass. There was a large lake connecting the river that winded the entire forest, with a wooden dock, where an old boat with blue, chipped paint was tied securely to.
