Y/D paced the small room, her frustration palpable. Optimus had locked her in here with the one bot she hated the most-Ultra Magnus.

"Optimus, do we have to?" she pleaded, arms crossed defiantly.

"Yes. You two have been nothing but cruel toward each other, so you're staying here until you get along." His voice was firm and stoic, yet she could hear the hint of annoyance beneath it.

"Uh-huh. What if I scream and bang on the door?" she shot back, desperation creeping into her tone.

"That is exactly why we made the walls soundproof." He smirked, the corner of his mouth twitching in amusement as he closed the door behind him.

"Wait, Optimus, this doesn't have to happen"- The click of the lock echoed across the room. Y/D was furious.

Y/D took a deep breath, moving to the far corner of the room. She leaned against the wall, not sparing a glance at Ultra Magnus, who was already watching her with his usual stern expression.

"If you're going to ignore me, try to make it less obvious," he said, glaring with his arms crossed, not even pretending to be amused.

"I-I wasn't doing anything. At all," she huffed, her irritation bubbling just below the surface. She turned her head away, determined to remain unbothered.

"I wasn't doing anything at all, sir. Also, your statement is incorrect," he replied coolly, maintaining his stance.

"Whatever, Magnus. Sir," she shot back, her voice dripping with sarcasm. The walls felt like they were closing in around her, and she hated the idea that they had to learn to get along before they could escape this prison.

Hours dragged on. Y/D found herself staring into space, her thoughts swirling, when she was jolted back to reality by Ultra Magnus's voice.

"How long do you think we will remain in this room?" He was looking at her, a hint of impatience in his optics.

"Too long," she grumbled. "I'd rather die."

"You'd rather die? Being stuck in here with YOU of all people is torture in itself." He glared at her, his optics flashing dangerously. If looks could kill, Y/D would be a goner.

"Good! Then we're in agreement," she snorted, unable to hold back a smirk.

He raised an optic ridge, momentarily caught off guard by her defiance. "You think this is a joke?"

"No, but if we're going to be stuck together, I might as well enjoy myself," she replied, crossing her arms defiantly.

Ultra Magnus sighed, the tension in the room thickening. "You might find it more enjoyable if you stopped antagonizing me at every turn."

"Antagonizing you is the best part of my day!" she exclaimed, unable to hide her smirk.

He turned away, clearly trying to suppress the faintest hint of a smile. "You really are impossible."

"And you're infuriating. But hey, at least we're getting to know each other," she said, the playful edge creeping back into her voice.

"Getting to know each other?" he echoed incredulously. "Is that what you call this?"

"Why not? I've always wanted to understand why you're so uptight," she replied, leaning against the wall with a challenging glint in her optics.

"Uptight? Is that really the best you can do?" He shot back, a flicker of amusement breaking through his stern facade.

"Better than being a glorified tin can," she retorted, her grin widening.

"We'll see about that, Y/D."
