Cinderpelt and Firestar worked together to bat off the remaining badgers from the camp on Thunderclan. They had survived, and the clan seemed okay. They could go back to living in peace. "Hey Cinderpelt," Firestar said, "I'm on my last life, I'm worried about the cl-" Cinderpelt didn't hear the rest, as a wounded badger bowled her over and began clawing at her.
Firestar bowled into the dog as usual. Firestar bowled the badger into a nearby pool of water and slit its throat.
Cinderpelt sat down and realized that members of the clan were looking at her funny. Then it hit her, a miserable pain stabbed her neck and stopped her breathing. Darkness appeared in the corner of her eyes as she slumped onto the ground and let Starclan claim her.
Turns out she didn't survive... Now for the time skip (to the battle of the dark forest with Ashfur and stuff).
