"Woah, Jinnie! That's so cool!" Felix said, walking up behind Hyunjin before another little boy walked up to them.
"Hey! I like your teddy bear. Can I have it?" The little boy said to Felix "No I'm sorry, this is a special teddy bear to me!" The little boy pouted and took it out of Felix's hands "Hey give it back!" Felix yelled at the boy, but the boy turned around and stuck his tongue out at Felix and ran away.
Felix about to cry turned to Hyunjin and tugged his shirt "j-jinnie that boy took my teddy!" As Hyunjin turned around looking at Felix's face, he was about to cry."No! Don't cry Felix ill get it back. " "o-ok, " Hyunjin ran off to the boy to get the bear back.
A few minutes later, Hyunjin returned "here Lixie," he says, giving him back the bear. Felix ran to hug him and get the bear back, looking up and smiling at Hyunjin. "Thank you, Jinnie, I love you, " he says with a smile, and his tears instantly disappear.
Hyunjin smiled at the boy and hugged him back before getting idea "were inlove with each other, right lixie?" Felix looked up and smiled at him "yes jinnie!"
Hyunjins expression lighted up as he backed up and took a ring off of his hand, getting on one knee. "People who love each other get married! So will you marry me, Lixie?"
Felix giggled, "But we're too young, Jinnie! We're only 5 and 6 years old!" Hyunjin pouted and got up, then he got a idea "so will you marry me when we're older?" Felix smiles at him "yes jinnie! I will "promise?" "Promise!"
Felix came up with an idea to come up with a way to keep his promise, "Jinnie! My mommy told me a forever promise is to sign a piece of paper!" He grabs his backpack and rumanges through it, bringing out a paper and both of their favorite crayons.
He wrote on it in very bad writing but it got the point through to the two boys and he signed the bottom then gave it to Hyunjin "if you put your name right there it will be a forever promise!" He said, smiling at Hyunjin
Hyunjin smiled and took it from him, signed it, then looked up at Felix. "There! That proves that we're getting married!" And gave the paper back
Felix ran up to Hyunjin and kissed him on the cheek and smiled at him. "Let's go play on the swings, hyunnie!!"
"Sure, lix-" Before Hyunjin could finish, his mom called him "Hyunjin!! Come here, it's time to go!" His mom called "ok mommy!! Bye Lixie, remember our deal ok?" Felix smiled and nodded."I will!!" Hyunjin smiled and put the ring on Felix's finger before running off to his mom.
He looked down at the paper in his hands, then at Hyunjin, and ran back up to him "Hyunnie wait! Take this, ok? To remember my promise, don't lose it!" He handed Hyunjin the paper and hugged him one more time before his mom took Hyunjin away
Felix watched him go before his mom walked up. "Ready to go, Lix?" Felix turns around and looks at her "Yeah mommy! Me and Hyunjin are going to get married when we're older!" His mom Lix?." "Yeah, mommy, look!!" Felix shows his mom the ring."I'm happy for you, Lix, now let's go. I have to start dinner. " "ok, mommy!" Felix takes his moms hand as they walk off together
The next day, Felix came back looking for his playground friend, but he never came. He waited in the sandbox, but by the time the end of the day, he never came, and Felix had to go
The next day was the same Hyunjin didn't come and it was the same for the rest of the time until he stopped going to the park and Felix was sad because he thought he would never see his bestfriend again
Little did he know he would have to keep his promise years later.
