Chapter 2

At the cafeteria, Kurt and Veronica are eating lunch together.

Kurt: You haven't changed at all since you were a kid in kindergarten.

Veronica: Yeah.

Kurt: Are you moving back to Lima?

Veronica: I'm not moving back. I'm staying here until my concert starts.

Kurt: Really? You're a singer?

Veronica: Yes, I am. I've also heard that the new Wicked movie is going to be playing here on the 22nd. The day before my concert. I was wondering that if you want to go with me to the movies.

Kurt: Are you kidding me? I love Wicked and yes I'll go with you.

Rachel saw Kurt and Veronica talking. She walked towards them.

Rachel: Kurt, who's this?

Kurt: This is Veronica. My old kindergarten friend. Veronica, this is Rachel. Rachel, this is Veronica.

Veronica: Hi. Kurt told me so much about you. Have you told her, Kurt?

Kurt: Oh, yeah. We're planning to go see Wicked the movie on the 22nd of this month.

Rachel: I love Wicked. I want to go see it.

Veronica: Uh, I only got two tickets for me and Kurt. I'm sorry. It's part of my agenda to do before my concert.

Rachel: Kurt, can I talk to you alone? (She drags Kurt away from Veronica) Are you really going with your autistic friend to the movies without me?

Kurt: She's my friend since we were kids.

Kurt: I'm sorry, Rachel. I'm going with Veronica.

Kurt walks back to Veronica.

Veronica: Kurt, you okay?

Kurt: I'm fine but I'm so glad that you came to see me.

Anna: Me too.

They hug each other.
