When Naya Lightwood was born it was the best day for the supernatural of New York. The Downworlders and Shadowhunters were finally coming together in a way no one could break.
Naya was half downworlder due to her biological father, Magnus Bane, and half Shadowhunter due to her biological mother, Izzy Lightwood, who carried the girl for her brother and his husband.
And while the peace should have lasted, it broke the second Naya went missing on her third day of life. The Shadowhunters blamed the Downworlders, and vice versa.
But in reality it wasn't either, it was fate. The Fates.
They knew the hybrid would be more useful in another place. A small town in Virginia; Mystic Falls to be exact.
Where she would grow up under the name Naya Forbes, and then later meet a man named Klaus Mikaelson.
And the fierce, intelligent, cunningly wise, flirtatious, non-conformist, witty, talented, confident, mean girl hybrid, ended up bringing the Original Hybrid, who hadn't felt anything in years, to his knees. (More than once)
And in the end she ended up in New Orleans, pregnant, and kidnapped.
Now, she along with her friends, family, and more, along with those of New York, are being pulled into a room to watch her life, along with the lives of those around her.
