Teddy huffed out in annoyance, she just wanted to spend more time with her vampire mate who was also the long lost king but of course he didn't want that.
They were currently in the ballroom of the mansion, the band playing something slow. Everyone dressed in elegant clothes, everyone dancing to the music. The tables were decorated with flowers, a long table had food and champagne glasses which were filled with pretty golden liquid.
Teddy once again tugged on Oliver's sleeve, pouting her ruby red lips when he ignored her. again. She felt like someone was putting pressure on her chest, she saw as he laughed and talked with the people that surrounded him. She noticed the girls that were giving him lustful eyes, she hated it.
'Just like killian' she thought stepping away from him. 'And soon, he will have another girl' she turned around, not wanting anyone to see the tears in her eyes. She looked over at her brother, his lips smiling softly. His eyes holding so much emotion as he looked at his mate.
At least one of them found happiness. Killian was nowhere to be seen, probably decided to stay in his room. She looked over at Oliver, she saw as a girl softly put her hand on his arm and he didn't push it away. The golden strapless minidress she wore was suddenly too tight.
The ballroom was on the second floor, the doors that led to the big spacious balcony were open. She walked out onto the balcony which was empty, she looked up at the night sky which were littered with more than a million little shinning stars accompanied with a full beautiful moon.
She hopped onto the balcony ledge, sitting on it facing away from the party that was going on inside. She closed her eyes, she slowly tilt her head back letting the night air blow on her exposed skin. "Teddy" she was surprised to hear killian, she thought he was holed up in his room. She slide around coming face to face with him, just looking at him was making her heart hurt.
It was like someone was painfully squeezing it. "I thought you would be with Oliver" his voice didn't hold a malicious tone, making her shrug her shoulders. She looked away from him, killian was at awe at how beautiful she looked under the moonlight.
"Dance with me" he blurted out making her turn to look at him. "What?" She asked not sure if she heard him right or not. He cleared his throat before speaking. "Dance with me" he repeated extending his hand towards her. She slowly took his hand, she jumped off the balcony ledge and killian softly pulled her against him. His hand resting against her waist, she laid the side of her head against his chest hearing his heartbeat.
It was like hearing a lullaby. They swayed side to side as the band still played a slow song. Teddy never thought she would be there, dancing under the moon with someone she thought would never emotionally hurt her. She slowly removed the side of her head from his chest, looking up at him.
