I walk into the lunchroom and shudder at the sheer smell of bologna.
"Yeah, I'll skip lunch today."
I walk out of the lunchroom eagerly because travis said he'd sit with us. He's coming out of his shell which is great! He's talking to Todd, Larry, and.. Ash more. Boy does Ash look nice today.. Shes.. So..
Snap out of it Sal! Sheesh. I sit down next to my friends, Maple, Larry, Ash, Chug, and Todd as I notice Travis walking in. I try to play it cool. But Travis looks so nice.. I like his hair. Wait.. Im not-
L: "Sup sally face!"
S: "Hey Larry face! oh dude.. Everyone's eating bologna.. Do they even know what they're eating?!"
L: "Nope. I will never touch bologna ever again. We have to tell someone!"
S: "Nobody will believe us.. Plus then the school will be sued!"
L: "Good point."
Travis comes over and awkwardly sits down. He looks kinda cute. Wait! I was just asking myself if I was-
A: "Hey Travis! Hows it going today?"
T: "Uh.. It's been fine.. I hate math though."
S: "Who doesn't? Our teachers suck!"
*Travis gives out a soft laugh as my heart jumps*
I just don't get it. If my heart flutters at Travis and Ash, I cant be gay or straight can I? What is going on?! Am I gay?!
L: "Sal dude, you look deeeep in thought. Man whats goin' on?"
I jolt my head up and shrug
S: "Yeah man.. I guess i'm alright."
Todd raises a brow
T: "Well Sal, you seem more anxious than usual. According to my knowledge, it seems you're under some stress or overthinking."
Well.. He's not wrong. I am overthinking! I have to loosen up!
Before I can respond the bell for next period rings and we all begin walking to our next class.
