Laili's POV
I run to the nearest aircraft as fast as my legs can carry me - I had just knocked a guard unconscious, not that it was hard with my superhuman strength, the only good thing that comes from my heritage. Well, that and the superhuman speed and enhanced senses.
Huh, why is the security so low? Wait, why are you thinking about this? Just run, would you!
I ignore my possible curse in disguise as I unlock and board the closest single pilot military jet.
I sit in the captain's seat, smiling as I remember my mother's teachings from so long ago, it feels like a previous lifetime. I enter my destination into the navigator, hoping that the Empire's greatest enemy will keep me safe, Earth.

Stefano's POV
The door rings.
"Stefano, can you answer it?" my younger brother asks - he's studying for the career assessment coming up.
I open the door that leads into the house to be greeted by a guard dressed in navy blue, "Is this the Goodwinne residence?"
