"Hey Y/n! Over here." I hear Jihye call my name somewhere down the hallway. Exiting my classroom, the final one of the day, I spot my two friends signaling me to come over to them.

I tug on my backpack strap around my shoulder as I walk over to them with a smile. They also seem to be smiling hella hard about something. "How was classes for yall?" I ask with a nod.

Bomi, already nudging at Jihye with that mischievous smirk on her face. Something must have happened or come up, I know that expression from mikes away. It's even more obvious now that I am standing a couple feet away from her. "Classes were the usual, but we want to know how yours was." Bomi asks me.

"My classes were pretty much the same too. Lecture, notes, discussion. The same shit." I shrug my shoulders, my eyes sometimes glancing at the people around us. It's a weird habit I have, but I can't help but focus my eyes on a mere passerby.

Crossing her arms over her chest, Bomi chuckles. "The same shit? What about English? Anything different?"

I raise a brow, getting a gist of what she is trying to get at. "Oh you wanna know about who I got as my partner for the project, hm?" I ask. Curious on why they would care though, they don't take this course this semester.

"Oh we heard who you got, we just want to know how that went." Bomi continues, that notorious smirk never leaving her face.

"Everything went fine. Hyunjin was just a bit quiet and hard to talk to, but we got some sentences exchanged which was good at least." I say, downplaying the situation as if he was another student. But we all know why they really care, they want some drama some tea, just so they can whisper and talk about the school loner once again.

"Ugh you're so lame. Come on, Y/n, give us some more information. So he spoke to you? Was his voice all weird and gross, how did he look under that hoodie? Did he smell?" Bomi continues to instigate,  a sneering expression appearing across her face.

"I'm honestly shocked he even spoke. People never heard his voice, barely seen his face before." Jihye continues, following the same lead as Bomi on trying to get information on this kid.

"You guys are acting like he is some supernatural thing. Yeah he spoke to me. His voice was actually pretty nice. And no... he didn't smell." I raise a brow at them, not expecting this type of animosity from them in relation to just another student.

Bomi shakes her head with a chuckle. "Omg no no no. We aren't trying to be mean, we just heard all these rumors and going based off those assumptions." She explains while shaking her hands in front of her face.

"How did he look? Or did you not get a look of his face. People were saying he had a really ugly face, unbearable in a way." Jihye cuts in, her eyes widening with excitement, as if sitting on the edge of her seat.

I think for a moment. Remembering back to how Hyunjin looked. His face was utterly... perfect. Everything was so smooth and bright. I don't understand why he would hide his face, and also why people made this weird rumors. They never even seen his face. "His face wasn't ugly at all. I think you two would have a crush on him if you saw him." I say with a chuckle.

"A crush?? On the loner kid? Pfft, no way. You're just exaggerating his face. Maybe he isn't ugly, but at least average, yeah?" Jihye says, side eyeing Bomi as she hears the suggestion they would find the school loner their type.

I shrug my shoulders. "He's better looking than most of the boys here, so I don't know if I'd call him ugly." I say.

Bomi nods her head. "Wow, he must be something then. Hm, maybe the rumors were wrong." She nudges Jihye with a raise of the brow.

Jihye nods her head. "Maybe he got a crush on Y/n."

"Huh?" I say, taken aback by the suggestion.

"I mean shit. Why would the school loner suddenly show his face and speak to you out of all people? You gotta be special to him in some way." Jihye says with a smile, nudging me in the side.

I let out a chuckle and smile. "I think he only did it because he had no choice. He doesn't have to speak to people in the hallways. But I guess as my partner he has to, you know?" I try to explain.

Bomi shakes her head. "Aww the school loner got a crush on our friend, Y/n here. You guys could be cute if he actually looks how you describe." She winks at me with a giggle.

"Oh stop you guys." I nudge them back. "You were just saying how probably weird and ugly he is, and now he has a crush on me?" I shake my head with a playful roll of the eyes.

"We just joking Y/n. He's just your partner for this class. After this you two probably aren't speaking again. He barely even spoke to you anyways." Bomi says, making light of the situation.

"Yeah. I don't think him and I could connect the same way we connect. He probably doesn't like this just as much as I do." I say with a shrug. It's just a project anyways, just got to get it done for the grade.

Bomi claps her hand together. "Okay! No more shrugging or pouting around. Let's head to my house to hang out, yeah?" She says with a cheery smile. Sensing the mood of the conversation going down, needing to bring us back up cheerful.

"Omg yes. I have tea about someone in my class and need to spill it to you guys anyways." Jihye giggles. She links our arms together as we walk to our lockers to pack up before heading out of the door.
