You had always considered yourself a creature of habit, but today was different. In a rush, you had dashed through the airport, barely making your flight. As you finally boarded, you were breathless but relieved to find a window seat. Little did you know, you hadn't just boarded any plane; you had taken a seat on the private jet of none other than Jungkook, the notorious head of a powerful mafia."Oh thank god", i said to my self
As you settled in, you glanced ahead to see a figure clad entirely in black sitting in front of you, his aura commanding and enigmatic. You barely noticed the two imposing guards flanking him until they exchanged glances with you. Just as they seemed ready to take action, Jungkook raised a hand, gesturing for them to back off. You didn't quite comprehend the danger you were in—or how close you had just come to being removed from the plane.
His gaze was sharp, and a slight furrow formed in his brow as he watched you. You were oblivious to the tension swirling around you, too focused on opening your laptop.
"Creep," you muttered under your breath, hoping to deter the unsettling attention.
Jungkook smirked at your comment, amused by your defiance. He leaned back, opening his book—Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky
"I never called you ugly, sweetheart," he replied, his voice a teasing drawl.
You rolled your eyes at him, attempting to return to your work, but his presence was oddly magnetic.
"Stop staring at me; I know I'm beautiful," you shot back, the words flowing with more confidence than you felt.
"I never called you ugly, sweetheart," he replied, his voice a teasing drawl.
You raised an eyebrow, caught off guard by his boldness. "Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Because it's interesting," he said, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips. "You're not like the others."
You tried to focus on your work, but the sudden presence of guards surrounding you made your heart race. They formed a protective barrier, watching your every move as the plane took off. The engines roared to life, and you felt the thrill of the ascent.
You looked at Jungkook again, noting the mask covering half his face. The mystery only added to the tension. Ignoring the guards, you resumed typing, determined to drown out the unsettling atmosphere.
"Okay boy, what is your problem?" you challenged, frustration bubbling up.
He raised an eyebrow, a hint of surprise in his expression. "Nothing, darlin'. Why are you asking? Is somethin' wrong?"
The plane surged into the sky, and you fasten your seatbelt, trying to maintain your composure.
His eyes were still on you and now you were fed up with this so you wore a pair of sunglasses and a cap you sensed the shift in his demeanor. His playful attitude darkened as he let out a low growl, clearly irritated by your attempt to shield yourself from his gaze.
"Don't hide from me," he warned, though his voice held a playful lilt.
Smirking, you showed him the middle finger, relishing in the audacity of the moment.
He chuckled, amusement flickering in his eyes. Despite the tension, you could tell he was entertained. Just then, his guards shifted, and you felt the weight of their presence again.
"Do you know who he is?" one of them growled, pulling out his gun, clearly annoyed at your disrespect.
You pulled down your cap and sunglasses, your heart racing. "No."
