Run Away

Chapter one

I secretly grab my bag and sling it over my shoulder I grab Buckys leash and look at them. Still talking
" I'm NOT living with them " I whisper. I look at Bucky and he nudged my leg and I run down the street and Bucky runs beside me
" Sam !!" I heard them yell. I run faster gripping Buckys leash
" Sam come back !!!!" Mr will yelled I heard someone running after me I do a sharp turn and run down an ally way Bucky barked and ran faster I try to keep up with the German Shepard
" Sam !!"Mr will yelled I see trash cans that have fallen and jump over them easily Bucky barked again but kept running I skid to a stop and look back and see mr will bent over panting and a few officers started to run down the alleyway.
" come on Bucky " I said grabbing my skateboard from my back pack and Bucky barked and started running. I grab the leash tightly and skateboard behind him.
" kid stop !!" Someone yelled. I look around and see a ladder on a building. I jump off the skateboard and pick it up shoving it in my back back. I pick Bucky up and climb up the ladder as quick as I can. I reach the flat and pull up the ladder and stick a stick to keep it up and go up the stairs quickly and jump up on the roof. I hold Bucky close and hear the men run down the ally way and hear their footsteps fade away I look down at Bucky he licked my chin
" it's just you and me now buck " I said scratching behind his ears. He laid his head on my lap I shrug my back pack off and put my skateboards down. I move Bucky and pull out a blue sweater and pull off my other shirt leaving me in a tanktop and slip the sweater on. I shove the old shirt in my backpack and pull out my black beanie and put it on. I shove the rest of my stuff in my bag and grab my wallet and see how much money I have
" sixty five dollars and seventy three cents " I said and bite my bottom lip Bucky nuzzled himself under my arm and laid his head in my lap. I pat his head
" we can do this buck " I said " I mean it's not the first time " I sigh and look at the darkening sky. I close my eyes and relax. I jerk awake when I hear a scream , Bucky growls and barks. I stand up and look over the edge of the building and see a woman on the ground and a man trying to fight a few other men. I look at Bucky and he nudged me a little hard I frown and jump off The side of the building landing right on a thug I fall back but jumped up and kicked another thugs legs out from under him. I punch the third thug and kick his stomach making him fall back. The last thug ran away I heard Bucky bark and whine.
" thank you for getting..........rid of them I guess " the man said helping the woman up
" no prob " I said and do a run and jump and grab into the ladder and climb up
" wait who are you ?!" He yelled I look down and give a small smile
" just a runaway " I said and jumped onto the roof Bucky licked my hand and nudged my leg
" come on " I said grabbing my back pack and picking him up and run and jump to the next roof holding Bucky tight and keep jumping from roof to roof.
