AN: Hey guys! So this is kind of a continuation of "Warmth." Wasn't intending that but it kind of happened and I love writing about Theo! Also holy f*ck over a thousand reads? That's crazy and I cannot thank you enough! Enjoy!
Mitch could not stand still. Even if there had been a gun held to his head, there's no way he could have stopped the constant nervous fixing of his bangs or Cartier bracelet adjusting. Scott looked over at his fidgety husband before wrapping his arm around the shorter man's waist attempting to still his anxious movements. Mitch glanced up at the blonde with a quick smile but pulled out of his grasp when he saw their last piece of luggage come around the airport carousel. He pulled it off the moving belt quickly before rushing back to Scott, grabbing his hand and pulling them both towards the other members of Pentatonix.
"Mitch slow down! Deep breaths!" Scott said trying to calm the slightly frantic man.
The band had finally made it back to LA after a few nights away. While the couple loved the band and performing, it had been their first time away from Theo and it had taken a toll of them, especially on Mitch. The tenor has worried himself sick every day they were gone. He had called and texted Jeremy constantly to check in on him and baby Theo probably driving Jeremy slightly insane. Scott yanked them to a stop in front of his friends/band members and turned Mitch to look him in the eyes.
"Babe, calm down. You just talked to Jeremy and everything is all okay with Little Man. I don't think you have taken a breath since the plane took off. I missed him too but I'd prefer if you didn't give yourself a heart attack in the airport," Scott said, "I mean I know some guys find the whole single father thing a total turn on but I don't really feel like finding a new husband just yet."
"JUST YET?!?!" Mitch cried out while giving Scott a dirty look. Scott smirked pulling the brunette into his arms to place a kiss on the top of his head, "Joking babe, joking" he replied with a light chuckle. The two shared a quick kiss before turning to Kirstie, Avi, Kevin, and Esther.
"Let's get Mommy Mitch home before he explodes," Kirstie said, smiling when Mitch rolled his eyes at the nickname the group was not letting go of. "Plus I want to see my neph-neph!" Kirstie exclaimed causing the whole group to chuckle and slowly make their way towards the exit of the airport. Mitch linked his hand with Scott's as the group walked, watching his best friends chatter amongst themselves about the trip and the plane ride home.

Jeremy opened the door to his and Kirstie's home ushering the trio in as Avi, Kevin, and Esther had already headed home to crash. Looking flustered, Jeremy quickly kissed Kirstie before turning to Mitch and Scott.
"I was trying to put him down for a nap but he started getting upset and I can't get him to calm down and I tried rocking him and checking his diaper and I gave him a bottle not that long ago and help, I am out of ideas!"
Mitch hearing the cries of his baby, rushed into the adjacent living room where the travel crib has been set up. Scott gave Jeremy a smile, quickly telling him he had done everything right and that Theo was probably just cranky. The group entered the living room to see Mitch cradling a now happy baby boy in his arms.
"Or maybe he wasn't cranky, maybe he just missed his Mommy," Scott said smiling at the sight of his two boys. Mitch only gave him a mega-watt smile in return, too happy with the reunion to even bothering pointing out the nickname.
"Isn't that right Little Man?" Scott asked kissing his son on the nose and grinning when Theo giggled in return, "You just missed your Daddies." Scott led Mitch and Theo to the couch, the small family sitting down with a content sigh. Mitch laid his head against Scott's shoulder and the baritone ran his thumb along the chubby cheek of his child causing the infant to look up at his dad with wide blue eyes and a happy toothless smile.
"You just needed your Mommy and Daddy didn't you baby boy," Kirstie cooed as she walked over to admire the happy boy. She put her arms out to pick up the gurgling Theo only to have Mitch frown at her.
"First you call me Mommy again and now you try to steal my baby from me? I don't think so Kirstin Taylor," Mitch sassed before pulling Theo closer to his chest. Scott rolled his eyes at the two, used to their bickering after so many years of it.
"Please Elmo let me hold my nephew!!!" Kirstie said giving Mitch puppy dog eyes causing him to roll his own but carefully place Theo into her arms all the same. "Let's hope those baby blues mean you got your Daddy's dorkiness and didn't get your Mommy's sass," Kirstie said to Theo as she rocked him slowly.
"Hey!" Mitch exclaimed looking mildly offended but also smiling and the sight of his best friend cradling his son. "But yeah I kind of hope he's just like his Daddy," Mitch said smiling at Scott before pulling him down for a kiss that turned a little heated before Kirstie could scoff and go, "Stop corrupting your son with your grossly adorable PDA."
"You said grossly adorable, I'll take it," Scott replied while running his fingers through his husbands soft locks. Theo soon started to whine a bit and this prompted Mitch to quickly recollect his son and place a kiss on his forehead.
"Both your boys need a nap Daddy," Mitch said giving Scott a grin but not before yawning.
"Then I guess we should head out," Scott said smiling. The two fathers gave Jeremy their thanks for taking care of Theo and both gave Kirstie a quick kiss on the cheek as they went out the door. Scott wrapped his arm around his family as they walked to their car that they had left at Jirstie's while they were gone. After buckling a sleepy Theo into his car seat, Mitch turned to his husband,
"Ready to go home?" Mitch asked.
"With you two? Always," Scott replied.
