Prologue -

May our destiny be with us. Because the day
that has been talked about is almost at its peak.

The day our destiny will be set in stone; determining what you are, how much your worth, and everything you will ever be.

It's what the authorities think is best.
What they think is most entertaining.

A status will be granted to everyone, enchanting you the gift of a magical power. A status that will divide people into groups.

But there will be those few unlucky souls that isn't considered good enough. And will be destined as ordinaries. That will say what we thought we would ever be - human.
Staying human will in a few days enchant you death.
But only those who get caught, that will say those who isn't clever enough.

It's all about a game. A game still kept in the shadows before us.

It was only a week ago since the world came crashing down on us.

Or rather the government. Throwing a huge revelation in our faces, stunning the world.

Everyone knew they were keeping secrets. Everyone knew the authorities were hiding something. Something huge - for decades. But no one could believe the extent it would take on our lives.

Throughout the decades magic has been discovered. Kept from everyone to believe it's only something that exists in fairytales and stories.

Most of it is still in the shadows hidden from us. No one really knows what we will be facing for the next unknown amount of time.

All we know is that there will be a game with blood and violence, as well as teamwork, enchanted powers and an exchange of a lifestyle. And it comes with a price as well as a gift.

But that is all we know so far.

I'm still not convinced any of this is real, as well as many other people among us. But nothing should surprise us anymore after what the science and authorities discovered and envolved.

The rules of the so called pre-game is all set.
Every chosen one has been granted a yet hidden power, with in us.
We have untill dawn to figure out which species we have become.

Those who isn't fortunate enough to figure it out - will never find out. Cause they'll be dead six feet under ground before they'll know it.

What challenges and games we're about to phase after that is all a secret.

Chills ran trough my whole system when I were told the rules. Dosen't seem real.

Alot of people still think this is all an innocent funny game or joke. But I have a gut feeling I shouldn't be doubting the government after what they've done.

Twelve hours to find out my capability and identity. Or else I might as well be dead.
