suspicious feelings

Kai's POV
   
     Looking at the tall building before me ,
the headquarters for Johnson's companies, the most popular and highest ranking company in the country.
   How I got here, I just don't know, I never knew they could accept me and Sofia to intern here.
Speaking of Sofia, she's right by my side gawking at the building with stars in her eyes, then she suddenly squealed, startling me, even the security man at the front was startled.

      "Kai are you seeing this, we're at my dream company" she said whisper shouting since she knew she squealed to loud the other time.
     "I'm not blind Sofia , could you stop gawking and let's get into the building, you couldn't stop shouting that we would be late and here you are staring at the building for five minutes just because you wanna take in the "beauty " girl you'll be seeing this building for three months of interning, can we go now" I asked visibly annoyed.
     "Boy, you sound frustrated, are you sure it's still the dream bothering you, you even kinda look pale, would you go back home??
I'll tell them you got sick " she said sounding suddenly concerned
  "I'm fine, maybe it's anxiety, it'll pass" I responded.
   "Are you sure" she asked again.

   With my glare she quickly stopped the questions.
     "Ok ok let's go, I'm just concerned about you ,you know"she pouted as she passed through the security after showing her ID

   I know she's just worried about me but I just don't want to slack off on the first day of interning, ever since I woke up from the dream today, I haven't been able to shake off a weird feeling that somethings gonna happen and it's making me overly nervous, I'm trying to think it's the anxiousness of resuming in a new company but deep down I know it isn't, this hasn't happened before ever since I've been having the dream and I hope I don't get this feeling everyday if I still have these dreams. And ever since I got to the company, the anxiety increased, maybe it's the company then.

I followed Sofia and showed my ID also .
  
    As we entered into the building, we were left astonished by the size and beauty, I know it was big and intimidating on the outside, but on the inside it looks a palace built into an office, with employees moving here and there, I wonder if the branches of  the company are as beautiful as this.

     I and Sofia made our way to the receptionist and told her we're new interns, she smiled sincerely at us, "you guys are early" she said, "you're welcome to The Johnson's companies headquarters, I'm sure you've been oriented properly last week before resuming this week?" we nodded at her question, "Good, you can go through the elevator to last floor, that's where you'll meet your supervisor " she smiled at us and resumed back to what she was doing
    I and Sofia entered into the elevator, we met just two ladies, one was fair skinned while the other was ebony and luckily they were going to the last floor, as the elevator was moving, the two girls were gossiping about something and I swear my ears just worked on its own to pick up what they were saying
     " Did you hear that the president is coming" the fair one said
   " I heard about and damn I should have worn my red gown, I know he doesn't really take interest of anybody here, but still..."the ebony one kept rambling off
    My mind drifted off after hearing the presidents coming, I hope he doesn't come to the floor I am cos I don't want to see the company's president seeing me slacking off in the first day cos I know with the way i'm feeling I might definitely slack off or faint.
I heard a ding and knew we were at our destination, as I and Sofia got out , she immediately told me
        " just so you know, I heard the President's kinda strict and hates people slacking off at work, even though he rarely comes, anytime he does, he'll definitely ish out people slacking off, just pray he doesn't come to our department cos you honestly don't look well, I don't want you getting scolded " she quickly said.

    "Thanks babe, but I'm here already, and I'll be fine ok" I reassured her
  
   We got into our department and saw our supervisor by the door, seems he already heard about our arrival.

     He had warm smiles, As we approached him ,we greeted him politely and he got down to business "Good morning guys, how was your night?? " "Great we said"
  "Well as you know everyone has their own office here ,every employee has his or office, same goes for our intern, you two have your own office which I'll show you guys now" ,we started walking to the left side of the company

   " You might have heard that the President's gonna be here today so everyone is trying to perfect their works, so everyone would be busy today, you guys can just sit in your "individual" offices til he leaves" our supervisor concluded before leaving for her office
  Since Sofia's office is beside mine, she keeps asking me if i'm watching movies or doing other things , she couldn't come to be since our supervisor had to emphasize on the "individual" offices.
  
   As I sat down on my chair, I became weak completely and before I knew it I was drifting off to sleep...
