Chapter 43: Iro Continuous to Learn

It's almost nighttime and its still raining hard. Maaga akong umalis galing airport, dahil cancel na ang flight ko ngayon pagkatapos maghintay ng matagal na delay, dahil dito sa masamang panahon. Sakto namang nakatanggap ako ng tawag kay Azleon, Leo as to how I call her, na nagtatanong kung kailan daw ba ako ulit free. Leo even have a living area in here. I can see her bass guitar placed on the corner near the living area placed in a stand, looking clean and well-maintained. On the other side, there is a busy table where the paints, Leo's palettes, and some rugs are placed. I can even see different color stains on the table, which I find eye pleasing.

We proceed to the living area and continued the talk.

"So why do you ask me to come?"

"It's not just you, you know, I also invited Iro, and the kid."

Leo is frequently visiting the house. She likes to keep mom, and Iwata companied while dad and I were away for work, at least, for a while. During weekdays, mom invite a few kids from the orphanage to eat breakfast, and play with them in the morning with Iwata and Leo. Maybe it's mom's way to keep Iwata entertained, so he won't be hearing the same voices everyday. As for Leo, well, she likes kids too, and as soon as she learned about the kids in the house every weekdays morning, she didn't miss a single day paying a visit.

Once, a kid from Gassho High passed by seemingly curious about the kids. Mom and everyone else used to eat in the front yard, after all, so it's easy to notice them from the outside. He seemed to like what mom and the others are doing so he volunteered to help as well. Eventually, I learned that the kid's name is Damond.
