When Ahaan received the news of his selection to play for Gujarat Titans (GT) alongside his father, Shubman, in the upcoming IPL, he was beyond ecstatic. He could hardly believe he was getting this opportunity to share the field with Shubman, his biggest inspiration. The whole family was overjoyed, but what Ahaan didn't know was that Samaira and his friends had already started planning a surprise celebration.

That evening, Samaira texted Aadhya to make sure Ahaan would be available, and soon everyone was in on the secret. The plan was set: they'd gather at Ahaan's favorite rooftop café, which Samaira had decorated with lights, banners, and a few cricket-themed decorations to mark the occasion.

When Ahaan walked in, led by Aadhya and expecting nothing more than a casual evening out, he was stunned.

"Surprise!" Samaira and the rest of his friends shouted as he entered. Ahaan's eyes widened, and he looked around, noticing the banners that read "Congratulations, Ahaan!" and "GT's New Star!"

"You guys!" he laughed, slightly embarrassed but clearly thrilled. "I didn't expect this at all!"

Samaira grinned. "We had to celebrate the newest Titan in style! Welcome to the league, Ahaan!"

They all settled in, sharing laughs and congratulations, as everyone took turns clinking glasses with Ahaan. Akaay and Agastya nudged him, throwing in comments about him becoming a star already, while Vamika reminded him not to get too cocky on the field with Shubman watching.

As the night went on, Samaira raised her glass. "Here's to Ahaan, for making it to the Titans! May you hit more sixes than even Shubman!"

Ahaan chuckled and glanced at Samaira, touched by the effort she had put into this celebration. "Thank you, Sammy. This really means a lot."

She smiled back, her cheeks slightly pink, as everyone raised their glasses in his honor. The night was filled with joy, laughter, and excitement for the journey ahead. And as Ahaan looked around at his friends, he knew he had a strong support system by his side for whatever challenges lay ahead.

After the celebration, Ahaan and the family returned home, still buzzing with excitement. Shubman had planned a cozy family night to mark Ahaan's selection and share some stories from his own journey in the Gujarat Titans.

They all gathered in the living room with mugs of hot chocolate as Shubman leaned back and began sharing tales from his early days at GT.

"So, you're all set for your first season, huh?" Shubman said, ruffling Ahaan's hair. "You're going to love it."

Aadhya, curled up next to Sara, piped up. "Tell us what it was like when you joined, Dad! Was it as nerve-wracking as it sounds?"

"Oh, it was intense," Shubman chuckled. "I remember my first match. I was so nervous I nearly forgot to put my helmet on before walking out to bat. The lights, the crowd... it's something else. But then, when you're out there, it's just you and the game."
