Y/n was on her way to school, her favorite music blasting through her headphones— as she treads with thought. She was still rethinking on what Midoriya had confessed to her yesterday— even though it didn't bother her that much, it still had her thinking.

The one thing that got her puzzled was the fact that he tried to keep it secret. Not that he necessarily lied to her— she just felt a little left out. There must be something big going on in his life and he didn't tell her.

Y/n scowls and fixes her backpack straps— as she looks up to make sure she was in the right direction to the school. As the song was ending— she searches and plays a new one.

"Why should I care so much? Izuku doesn't have to tell me everything." She thought with a somber expression on her face as she couldn't help herself from frowning— as she looked down on her shoes.

"But— dammit, I can't help it. We tell each other everything— it's always been us two, no lies and secrets. What changed?" She asks to no one in particular as she had an incredulous look on her face.

Y/n sighs and just tried to shake it off and brings herself to a stop to cross the street. She waited patiently with a busy crowd and checks her phone to see if she'll be on time.

"Maybe— I'll get to be your hero this time." He said with a smile even though tears were cascading down his cheeks.

The memory invaded her mind— she didn't know he was carrying so much this entire time. Y/n knew there was something off when he suddenly got a quirk— but never thought to question it.

Y/n noticed the crowd moving forward and quickly averted her attention to catch up. As she crosses the street—she saw a crowd of people standing by at the school gate. Cameras, microphones and van.

"What's going on?" She muttered as she hooked her headphones on her neck. As soon as she steps near the school, reporters and other people from the media started crowding her with questions.

"What do you think All might is like as a teacher?" A reporter said— shoving a microphone into her face, not even giving her thoughts a millisecond to process.

"Uh— what?" She mumbled as another person with a microphone came from beside of her.

"How are you adjusting to his teaching methods— are they any good?" He questions repeatedly as Y/n began to feel overwhelmed by all the people around her with their demanding questionnaires.

"Um— idk uh..." Her mouth went dry as she couldn't control her mouth to speak. Her heart rate excelled and started to feel as if the crowd was consuming her.

"That's not a viable answer— we need more." Everyone spoke at the same time, and Y/n breathing picked up.
