I carefully plugged in my ear buds and walked peacefully down the street. I like to do this on Saturday morning, just so I can get a away from my parents.
Lucky for me Josh went to a friends house last night, so I didn't have to take care of him.
I think I may just walk to the park or something. Nothing special, or even maybe get Coffee.
I saw some people running this morning, but one of them caught my eye, It was that girl from yesterday.
She wore long black running pants, and a light sweatshirt, her hair was up in a pony tail and she also had ear buds in listening to music.
I caught up next to her a waved, her face turned into a confused look, before she recognized me. She rolled her eyes and continued running.
" What are you doing?" I kind of screamed, so she can hear me clearly.
" I'm relaxed and reading a story. What the hell do you think I'm doing? You Idiot."
" I just was trying to start a conversation."
"What if I didn't want to talk to you?"
" Aww, why not." This is getting tiring, I really don't want to keep running.
She shrugged in responce, picking up the pace.
" You seem tired." She smirked.
" Yeah, I am."
" At least your being honest, you should take a break." She turned her head slightly.
" Of course."
" I'm going to keep running, I have to, it's my routine, see you around." She smiled, with a small wave.
I stopped, and sat on a bench that we passed a few seconds ago. I finally caught my breath after a few minutes.
Now I need Coffee.
I smiled to myself and walked to the small Coffee shop, I used to go to when we lived a little closer to it in the neighbourhood.
Opening up the doors and smelling the fresh baked breakfast's, was always the best.
I stood at the counter and ordered what I usually get.
-
After about 10 minutes here, sitting in a small booth, playing games and checking media on my phone, the small bell on the door dings and my eyes wondered to the person who was walking in, I always did that. I like to be nosey.
I had noticed that it was the girl again.
I quickly went through my contacts on my phone and asked my friend if he knew what her name was,
His text after one minute, said 'Maddie.'
I should see if she responds.
She ordered her drink, and was about to take a seat somewhere else untill I called that name, her eyes responded quickly.
"Are you stalking me?" She raised an eyebrow, taking a seat across from me in the booth.
" Excuse me, I was here before you."
" You're excused." She laughed.
" So you know my name now?"
" Is it your name?" I smiled.
"Yes." She rolled her eyes
" That's a pretty name."
" Are you flirting with me Mr. Mathews?" She smiled.
" No...." I trailed off with a smile.
" Sure, Sure."
-
Maddie and I talked for a while, getting to know eachother, Like, our life stories and all that.
She didn't seem like what I thought.
I guess being someone I was not, was something I never expected.
She expected me to have the perfect life. Which was silly.
Something was very diffrent with Maddie, she didn't want attention, she didn't want many things. All she wanted was a happier life, that was not stressful and depressing.
-
We had gave eachother our numbers, just in case we would like to hang out together sometime.
Me: Goodnight Maddie. :) zzz
Maddie☺☻: Goodnight weirdo.
