Becky and William returned to the castle’s backyard, a soft smile lingering on Becky’s face as she thought about her recent goodbye with Freen, Now officially her girlfriend. William couldn’t hold back his grin as they approached Santa and Est, who were waiting for them.

William nudged Becky playfully and said, "Well, from now on, Becky’s no longer single."

Becky’s cheeks flushed, and she couldn’t hide her bashful smile. Est and Santa exchanged a surprised glance before Santa laughed, "Wait, so did Freen confess to you?"

Becky shook her head, a little proud of herself. "Nope, I confessed to her."

Santa beamed. "Aww, sis, congratulations! I’m so happy for you!"

Est added, "Yeah, congrats, Becky."

Becky chuckled, feeling her heart lighten even more. "Thanks, you two."

Est then straightened up, glancing between Becky and Santa. "Well, Santa and I have been talking, and we think we have a way to make it easier for you two to meet Freen and Perth while your parents are at the castle. If one of you takes a turn sneaking out and the other stays back to cover, it’ll raise less suspicion."

Becky’s eyes lit up. "Oh, that’s perfect. Just like we did today?"

Est nodded. "Exactly. And if the king and queen aren’t around, then both of you can go together as usual. That way, one of you is always here if anyone asks. And luckily, they didn’t seem to notice you were gone today."

Becky breathed a sigh of relief, her shoulders finally relaxing. "Thank you, Est. That makes me feel way better about sneaking out. So, tomorrow it’ll be Santa’s turn."

Santa grinned and nodded. "Alright."

Est patted them both on the shoulders. "Good. Now you two better head back inside before anyone notices you missing."

With a shared look of agreement, Becky and Santa headed inside, a sense of excitement already growing between them for tomorrow’s plan.

Meanwhile, back in the village, Perth and Freen were making their way home, both still carrying the warmth of their afternoon at the lake. Freen’s face glowed with happiness, and Perth couldn’t help but notice the contented smile that hadn’t left her since they left the lake.

"You’re really happy, huh?" Perth teased, nudging her shoulder gently.

Freen laughed, looking off into the distance with a dreamy smile. "Of course I am. Becky’s… she’s something special, and now I know she feels the same way."

Perth chuckled. "Lucky you."

Freen gave him a knowing smile. "Hey, your time will come soon enough. Tomorrow, you get to see Santa again. Just… be honest, alright? Don’t hold back."

Perth’s face softened, and he felt a faint blush rising. "Yeah, I’ll try. I just… hope he’ll be there tomorrow."

Freen wrapped an arm around his shoulder. "He will, Becky already said that she will tell Santa to come, tomorrow just be honest with him And even if things feel uncertain, trust yourself, okay? Just like I did."

Perth nodded, feeling a bit more confident. "You’re right, Freen. Thanks."

As they reached their modest home, they were greeted by the warm, familiar smell of their mother’s cooking. She met them at the door with a gentle smile, arms crossed in her usual way. "Finally, you’re both home! Go get cleaned up – dinner’s almost ready."
