Chapter 1: Our New Car

A/N: This is my first time writing a story, soo I don't think it's really good... (╥﹏╥)

Before time began, there was the Cube. We know not, where it comes from, only that it holds the power to create worlds and fill them with life. That is how our race was born. For a time, we lived in harmony, but like all great power, some wanted it for good, others, for evil.... 

And so began the war, a war that ravaged our planet, until, it was consumed by, Death. And the Cube was lost to the far reaches of space. 

We scattered across the galaxy hoping to find it and rebuild our home, searching every Star, every world...

And just when all hope seemed lost, message of a new discovery drew us to an Unknown planet called, Earth...

*suddenly Avengers theme played...

I awoke to a lovely morning, and as the breeze welcomed me, I got out of bed, showered, and dressed before leaving my room.  Suddenly I bumped into my brother's forehead, Sam, the most awkward man I have ever seen in my life. I am adopted, so he isn't actually my brother.

I yelled at him, "Oww!? Get out of the way, Sam!"

He stood up and yelled, "Ow.... You, get out of the way!" at me. He frowned, and I rolled my eyes, but he extended his hand to assist me in getting to my feet. 

After going downstairs, we both ate breakfast. After bidding our parents farewell, we both left the house. Me and Sam are freenimes, we've been fighting since we were kids, but, we help each other, and play with each other.

But now, Sam's changed, he's been hanging out with Miles most of the time, then spending time with me... I don't have that much friends, only Mikaela. 

Time Skip:

Sam and I attend different classes. But, Mikaela, my best friend, is with me, and we have been close since we were six years old, so we're really close. I walked out of the classroom as the school bell rang, but a familiar voice cried out to me, "Y/N!" I looked back and saw Mikaela!

"Y/N!" She called out again, "What is it Mikae?" I asked. "There's going to be a party, at the lake." She told me, "I was wondering, if you could join?" 

"I would love to! But umm- I got somethin to do. But I will be there!" I said, very much excited. "Great! I'm glad you'll join!" She said, with a big smile on her face, "I'll join in-?" I asked as I raised a brow. "Oh- um- 7:00 pm!" She said, "Sure! See you then!" I waved, and went to Sam.

I remembered that Dad had told us that we both can get a car, but we needed to receive at least an A. I was worrying too much about Sam's grade, 'Oh no what would happen if he had an-' I paused when I heard someone say, "I would say uhh- a solid B minus..."

I peeked at the door, to see Sam, and his teacher. 

I chose to interrupt Sam as he was speaking in an attempt to avoid receiving a B-minus. Holding his collar, I said, "I'm so sorry, Teacher, to umm- interrupt, but we have to go." As I was heading outside.

We went to Ron and took a seat in the vehicle. When I told him, "Look dad! I got an A!" Sam also showed him his grade, saying, "Hey dad, I got a minus, but it's an A." He said, "Wait wait wait, let me see?" Ron asked, "So we good?" Sam replied, "You're good, both of you..." as he smiled and glanced at us both.
