Fairy tail: The protectors

Chapter 2

Life treated the four former Shadow Knight members beautifully, and all decided to start a family of their own.

Tsukime Dreyar had left her reckless ways behind much to the relief of both her husband and Laxus after the birth of her daughter, Miri Fernades, choosing to become a dotting mother to her instead of leaving any trace of her past self.

"I'm so tired..." Kyo yawned, having dark circles under his eyes. "Welcome to fatherhood, bro." Luca patted the man's shoulder. "Well, at least you're faring much better than me," Igneel grumbled, glancing back at Ghale, who was busy fussing over their son Akihiko. "You had it, the easiest man." Reiki said, "I had to deal with my pregnant and horny wife." The four had become close friends over the years. "She even slapped me this morning for almost spilling my coffee on Miri." He held an icepack to his cheek, whereas the other two looked back "She's so violent." Kyo comforted the man who cried "Great job, Miri!" Tsukime smiled down at her daughter, clapping her hands. "I mean, she doesn't seem to be upset." Igneel observed his best friend talking with the other two girls, "I'm sure she'll come over to ask for kisses." Luca said he failed to notice his wife walking towards him.

"Kyo, I'm going to go out for a walk," Maya said, walking over to her husband, who stumbled to his feet. "relax Kyo, we'll be with her." Scarlet appeared with the twins behind the pregnant woman. "where are you going?" Luca raised a brow. "We're going to drop them off at magic school." Tsukime looked at Reiki. "I'll be back, honey." She kissed his cheek, leaving the other two women. "Bye, Daddy!" Reiki waved to his daughter, dazed with the other two. "Dude, what was that?" Luca turned to Reiki once the kids were gone, only to find the man giggling to himself and so went their days.

Igneel was bored; he watched Akihiko and the other kids running around. "God, this is so boring," Reiki said next to him. "I don't understand how the girls can sit here for hours." Luca sighed. "I have a couple of ideas about how they pass time." Ghale said, leaning back on the bench, but then they turned to the man cooing at their baby, "Oh, sorry, am I disturbing you?" Kyo asked as they all sighed.

After a couple of minutes of trying to get Haru to sleep, all of them turned back to their kids. "Uh... where are the kids?" Ghale asked, not seeing any of the children, "Oh no! We've lost the kids!" Igneel screamed horrified, "Scarlet's going to kill me." Luca and Reiki sulked, fearing the wrath of their wives. "Look, someone's running away with them!" Kyo pointed at a group running with all four children. "After them!" all of them chased after the kidnappers. "Unhand those kids!" Reiki said.

"We have to cut them off before they get away," Luca said. "Don't mind if I do." Igneel prepared his fire magic. "Are you crazy? They have the kids!" Ghale punched his husband, "Let me handle this." The ravenette made a wall with his solid script, "You won't catch us so easily!" The kidnappers split up, causing their pursuers to also do the same.

Meanwhile, Scarlet turned back, noticing her husband run past. "Luca?" she said, confused. "Where did he come from?" Maya asked, not looking up from the menu, "There watching the kids in the park." Tsukime answered, "No look!" Scarlet turned the two around. "Reiki?" Tsukime also saw her husband run past. "Ghale, Igneel, and Kyo are with them too." Maya raised a brow. "Why are they running though?" All three women looked at each other.

So the five boys followed the kidnappers, not noticing their wives on their tails. "They're going to meet up," Luca said, noticing Kyo and Ghale not far behind the other man. "Daddy!" Yoko, Tamaki, and Akihiko said, seeing their father, "Yeah, Daddy's coming; don't worry." Igneel said, "What do we do?" Both males were huffing, joining the three.

Luca used his sapphire dragon slayer magic to block them; however, they broke the crystals. "Are those the kids?" Tsukime squinted her eyes "I swear I gave him one job." Scarlet huffed in anger.

Ghale placed a bunch of big swords, successfully trapping the group. "Ha! Nice try!" However, the group screamed at the sight of a ferocious giant fox, "Grand Chariot!" Reiki successfully took out the kidnappers "Miri," he ran towards his daughter. "Are you ok, son?" Ghale checked Akihiko for injuries. "Let's keep this a secret from mommy, ok?" Luca kneeled down to the twins height. "Mommy!" Miri's face lit up seeing her mother.

Reiki turned back in horror towards his wife, "Honey, are you ok?" Tsukime ran towards her husband and daughter. "When did you get here, babe?" Luca began sweating nervously. "We were right behind you," Maya answered, checking on Haru, who was still sleeping while listening to the kids re-telling them the events of today. "Now, honey, please explain to me how this happened." Tuskime smiled sickeningly sweetly at her husband.
