2nd Person's POV

"Are you scared?"

"No...!"

"Good!" Bonde quickly grabbed your hands and pulled you to the park's entrance, "Let's get going!"

The fog was seeping from inside as you saw silhouettes of monsters nearby, the large "haunted castle" in the distance looming over.

"...Why are we here again?" you asked, your eyes scanning every corner as you walked inside, trying to blend into the crowd.

"Why not? I heard this is one of the scariest events in town," Bonde beamed, his eyes focused on the food stands and scare facilities.

"I could tell..." you muttered, seeing the scare actors lurking around the area, some looking around the visitors and even stalking them.

"Well... What do you want to see- AH!" you yelped as a scare actor slid in front of you and Bonde, making him laugh as you hugged his arm tighter.

You sighed as you loosened your grip, trying to calm your nerves as Bonde chuckled to himself.

"I told you I wasn't good with these things,"

"That's why I invited you," he cheekily answered, making you groan.

"Oh, don't be such a stick in the mud!" he joked, squishing your cheeks in his hands,

"Trust me! This will be fun,"

For the rest of the night, you and Bonde roamed the park. You both tried out the food, visited attractions, and narrowly avoided the scare actors.

"Should we try the corn maze after-woah!" Bonde flinched when a werewolf jumped at him, making him laugh.

"Amazing! Your costume looks so real," Bonde complimented, admiring the actor's fur and makeup before walking away.

"See? That wasn't so scary,"

"Easy for you to say," you breathed out a smile,

"I'm amazed you can just laugh it off,"

"How far do you think the exit is?" you asked, trying to look over the lofty hedges, but it was no use.

"It looked pretty close from the outside," Bonde answered, clearly excited to see what the maze had to offer.

"That's true... I think we should take a left here--" A plague doctor covered in blood and holding a decapitated head stood at the end of the left path, staring at you.

You quickly closed your mouth and went the other way, pulling Bonde along.

"(N/N)? What's wrong?" Bonde asked, unsure why you suddenly grew quiet.

"Let's just go," you whispered, your voice shaking as you kept your head low.

You hesitantly looked back and saw the plague doctor, now standing a few feet behind you and Bonde, mist coming out of the mask from the cold night.

You felt shivers run down your back as you grabbed Bonde's hand.

"(N/N)? What's wrong?"

"Run."

As you tried to flee, the plague doctor sprinted after you with determination, the decapitated head swinging from side to side in his hand, leading you and Bonde to pretty much every trap in the maze.

Until you and Bonde eventually got to the exit, breaking the record for the fastest time to complete the maze.

"Never again..." you panted as Bonde airly laughed beside you.

"I think I got more scared from you telling me to run with the most serious look on your face," he teased, poking your cheek as you gasped for air.

"S-Sorry... I just ran in instinct..." you muttered, calming down as Bonde sat beside you, smiling.

"Are you kidding? That was so much fun! I'm pretty sure we saw everything in that maze in just five minutes," he chuckled, kissing your cheek.

"I knew inviting you was the best idea," he added with a cheeky grin, making you look away in embarrassment.

"If I can't sleep because of this I'm blaming you,"

"Then I guess I just have to keep you company tonight until you do,"
