After Ikki's victory over Buccha and meeting Spitfire, Jei, Ikki, and Ringo, start to head home.

Ikki: We're back.

Mikan: Shining Mikan kick!!

Ikki: *pain* AAAAAHHHH!!

As they enter the house, Mikan suddenly appears and hits Ikki with a spin kick to the face.

Ikki: 💢 What the hell was that for!? Is that any way to treat the champ!?

Mikan: 💢 Champ my ass, you busted your A-Ts in another stupid fight didn't you!? I want my wheels back!

Jei: Wait how do you know about that?

Ume: We saw the whole duel online on the Parts War home page.

Ume took out her laptop and played the video of Ikki and Buccha's duel.

Ikki: What's the big deal I won didn't I, I may have recked my shoes but at least I didn't bet you emblem I used my own, see?

Ikki took out a sticker from his pocket that had a poorly drawn picture of a crow on it.

Mikan:...Well, that's pretty lame, even if you win you're gonna look like a dumbass with that piece of crap.

Ume: *smile* If you want I can ask my friend to make one for you.

Before she could finish, Jei got up and headed to his room.

Ume: Big Bro?

Jei: Sorry, I'm tired so I'm going to bed.

As he walked away leaving them confused, they looked towards Ikki and saw that he had the same expression Jei had.

Mikan: What's wrong with you two, you get dumped or something.

When Jei entered his room, he took off his A-Ts and deck and placed them on his desk.

Jei: *sad* So this is what A-Ts are, I don't mind fighting if I have to but, why can't everyone just ride freely?

He reached for his deck and pulled out the Stardust Dragon card from it. Before he was alone, his dad gave it to him before he died saying that it used to belong to one of the greatest duelist in the world.

Jei: (I wonder if Dad would be doing the same thing I'm trying to do?)

Jei walked toward his bed before falling face-first on it, he lay there for a second before he started to smell something.

Jei: *sniff* *sniff* Candy?

He turns his head to the side...Only to see Simca lying in his bed...Naked.
