Long ago, women lamented the burden of their gift—the power to bring forth life, because sometimes it didn't matter. The life they created would soon cease to exist just because of a simple biological chromosome. It depends upon the two letters, how this child's life would bloom. Would it bloom?

The country of India is diverse. It is colorful. It is full of celebrations. It is completely and utterly orthodox. Many parts of India have overcome that flaw, but many are yet to embrace the winds of change. In villages to this date, when an infant is born with XX chromosomes, she is either sacrificed, or lives her entire life as a disgrace and a disappointment, not because she wants to but because she has to. That is why women do not wish to give birth, not because they are terrified of the complications of birth but because of the consequences of societal thinking. The reason it is frequently known as "sex", is because it is the result of sex cells, it is completely biological, but the reason it is also known as "gender" is because of how they act socially. A female has certain traits and a certain way they act, always tucked away in the corner of a kitchen.

Women aren't thought of as failures in our society. Not even close, they are thought of as timid, craven formal cowards who are too afraid and isolated from freedom. Whereas men, they are the default setting of human grace. Men are often described as "strong", "independant", "motivated" and "determined" but all these adjectives can be used for a single mother, a bullied little girl, and a working woman. Then why are these adjectives more masculine than others? Why are we categorizing words into different sections, why something that is abstract and an element of literature is being classified as a gender?
