Chapter 3: CHEATER!

At an amusement park, vibrant lights twinkling in the evening sky, laughter and screams from rides echoing in the background. Hendery and Xiaoting are sitting on a bench, sharing cotton candy, their expressions filled with joy.

Hendery: (smiling as he spins the cotton candy stick) You know, I've always wanted to try that roller coaster over there. It looks insane!

Xiaoting: (giggling) Are you sure you can handle it? You might scream like a baby!

Hendery: (playfully pouts) I do not scream like a baby! I'm the bravest boyfriend you could ask for.

Xiaoting: (raising an eyebrow) Oh really? Prove it then!

Hendery: (leaning in closer) How about we go on it together? That way, if I scream, you'll be there to protect me.

Xiaoting: (laughs) Okay, okay. But first, can you hold on to this for a second? I need to use the bathroom.

Hendery: (nodding) Sure! I'll just wait right here.

Xiaoting: (standing up, her expression shifting slightly) I'll be back in a minute.

As Xiaoting walks away, her demeanor changes, and she pulls out her phone, glancing around before disappearing into the crowd.

Meanwhile, Hendery pulls out his phone and starts scrolling through social media, completely unaware of what Xiaoting is up to.

Cut to Y/N, who's at the amusement park with her friends. She notices Xiaoting's sudden departure and feels a rush of anger. She knows what's about to happen and decides to follow her. She watches from a distance as Xiaoting meets Jun, her twin sister's boyfriend.

Y/N: (thinking to herself) I can't believe she would stoop this low. After everything she did to my sister... (clenching her fists) I have to do something.

She pulls out her phone and snaps a photo of Xiaoting and Jun laughing together, arms around each other, the betrayal clear in the picture.

Back to Hendery, who is still waiting, looking around curiously.

Hendery: (to himself) What's taking her so long? She just went to the bathroom...

He checks the time, then decides to text her.

Hendery: (texting) Hey, are you okay? Did you fall in? 😂

A few moments pass, and he receives no response. He frowns, starting to worry a little.

Back to Y/N, who watches as Xiaoting and Jun get closer, whispering to each other. She feels a surge of determination.

Y/N: (muttering) This isn't just about revenge; it's about making sure she pays for what she did to my sister. You think you can just take him away like that?

She captures another picture, her heart racing as she considers her next move.

Xiaoting and Jun continue to flirt, oblivious to Y/N's presence.

Jun: (smirking) I can't believe you managed to get away from Hendery. He's such a nice guy, though. You really shouldn't be with him if you're with me.

Xiaoting: (flirting back) Oh, come on. He's just a placeholder. You know you're the one I want.

Y/N feels her heart pound with anger, recalling the day her sister passed away, all because Xiaoting's actions led to a terrible breakup that spiraled out of control.

Y/N: (thinking) You think this is a game? You'll regret this, Xiaoting. You're not getting away with it.

She texts her friend, outlining her plan.

Hendery: (still waiting, now feeling anxious) Seriously, where are you, Xiaoting?

He decides to get up and search for her, but just as he turns, he notices Y/N standing nearby, looking determined.

Hendery: (walking over) Hey! Have you seen Xiaoting? She went to the bathroom a while ago, and I'm starting to worry.

Y/N: (forcing a smile) Oh, she's around. Just... give her some time.

Hendery: (confused) You seem a bit tense. Is everything okay?

Y/N: (pausing) Yeah, it's fine. Just... I hope you know what you're getting into with her.

Hendery: (frowning) What do you mean? She's great!

Y/N: (looking away) You don't know the half of it.

She glances back toward where Xiaoting and Jun are, feeling the weight of her sister's betrayal hang in the air.

Hendery: (noticing her gaze) Wait, is something going on?

Before Y/N can respond, she receives another text alert, causing her to check her phone quickly. It's a message from her friend, confirming the situation.)*

Y/N: (taking a deep breath) Look, Hendery... you should really be careful with Xiaoting.

Hendery, still clueless about the affair, looks genuinely concerned.

Hendery: I appreciate your concern, but Xiaoting wouldn't cheat on me. We're happy together.

Y/N: (shaking her head) Happiness can be deceiving.

She watches as Xiaoting and Jun embrace, her heart racing as she realizes it's time to act.

Y/N: (gathering her courage) Just... keep your eyes open, okay?

Hendery nods, still bewildered but trusting her intentions. He checks his phone again, looking for a message from Xiaoting.

Hendery: (sighing) I just hope she comes back soon. I miss her already.

Y/N turns away, the picture of Xiaoting and Jun still fresh in her mind, her heart hardened by revenge and the need for justice for her sister.

Y/N: (muttering to herself as she walks away) You won't get away with this, Xiaoting. Not if I have anything to say about it.

The scene fades as Hendery remains blissfully unaware, while Y/N embarks on her path of revenge, the amusement park alive with laughter and joy, masking the betrayal lurking in the shadows.
