Some say that out of the very many abilities a vampire is born with, that A vampire's fangs are the most important weapon they have,
But that's not really true. You see a vampire can live without his or her fangs, they merely help us bite, as long as we find a way to actually drink the blood they'll be fine,
Some vampires even dull their fangs down so they can't lose control and kill anyone, but after the centuries of kitty's life she's learned it doesn't work, she's tried, not for the reason of not wanting to hurt anyone,
She couldn't care less about that in actuality, no human or vampire are worth that,
But because after a while, she'd started to carve the bite of death. So she'd opted to starve herself to death but after a month of going without blood and without fangs she'd lost control one faithful night.
Attached a child on the streets and drained it with a knife, cut open it's stomach as it squirmed and drunk the blood till it'd became a dull, listless heap of flesh and bone,
She was miserable. Is still even now. Her fangs after a few decades they grew somewhat back. It was a red moon that night and it made her vicious. The next morning she'd awaken in a church. Mother's, son's, daughter's, father's and grandparent's lying dead around her, she was soaked to the bone in blood and feeling more powerful than she had in a million years, literally,
They'd grown as sharp as a cat's, not like they used to be but enough so,

Kitty.
I wake up with loud. sharp shout. The room is dark but with my sight I can see everything, I catch sight of my eyes through my vanity mirror,
My eyes are as wide and bright as the moon, they glow bright purple in the dark, my pupils thin and cat-like, like an animal zeroing in on their prey,
It sends a shudder through my shoulders. The fear of my worst instincts boils beneath my skin. Kicking my legs over the side of my bed I stand on trembling legs,
I need to go find Jenna, I stagger down the hallway, I look at the open bathroom door and the way there's light coming up the stairs,
I sniff the air and narrow my eyes as I catch the faint smell of fresh paper inside a new stretch book and frozen cherrys, speeding down the stairs i look around before walking into the kitchen,
Jenna sways with familiar elegance, her hands on her headphones, she hummed the lyrics with certain mirth, it reminds me of the very night we'd met.
Her with her graceful, Heiress' charm and vampiric beauty, Dancing in the shadows like the black swan, Sharp and quick on her feet, my breath is again brutally knocked out of me.
She let's her claws retract from the man's arm. He falls limp against her. Kicking the now corpse back she stumbled forward, her fiery red hair falls in front of her face, covering her eyes.
Her chest heaves as blood and saliva trail down her chin, her fangs dripping with blood and pieces of flesh stuck between her teeth, she hears the soft sound of singing in the distance and like a sirens she follows it. Enticed by the sweetness of Cherry,
Like a wounded beast she limps forward, her pants dragging against the ground, dirt and wet grass clinging to the fabric, the scent grows stronger with each step. And a predatory urge takes over her.
