Hello, we're back with a new project, Top Taehyung!
First of all, I'd like to make it clear that this isn't my main project, as all my attention is focused on my other novel, Midas Touch. I'll also be writing Alpha Twins as a bonus for my Top Tae readers. So don't expect regular updates, as with my other novels. At the moment, I have some chapters in advance, but I'll write when I have time.
Also, I've decided to change things up a bit, and this time we'll have the twins Kim, Taehyung and Vante! I hope you don't mind this change, because I've been thinking about it for a while. And as far as I'm concerned, two Taehyungs are even better than one!
Also, know that I'm not a fan of the shifting thing in omegaverse stories. I had a lot of comments about this on one of my books, but I want to be clear now : there will be no shifting. They're not werewolves, they just have a second gender (alpha/beta/omega).
Beside that, this story will contain:
Top Tae and Vante
Bottom Kook
Fluff and smut
MxMxM
Mention of abuse, violence (but not in TaekookV, of course)And I think that's all! Enjoy your reading, and don't hesitate to vote and above all, comment! It motivate me to write more (so comment = more chapters)!!💕💕

I'm suffocating. It's cold and I can't breathe. No matter how hard I try to get up, it's no use. It's as if some unknown force is preventing me from rising to the surface, forcing me to drown in this abyssal darkness. I can't even scream, I can't even cry. I can't call for help. It wouldn't get any anyway.
Then all of a sudden I'm pulled backwards and the air comes back in. It irrigates my lungs, brings me back to life, but it's painful. It mixes with the water I've inhaled, suffocating me as much as it allows me to breathe. And then I feel the coldness of the concrete, my drenched body stiffening on contact with the rough material.
I can't contain a sob.
"This is why I didn't want an omega son. You're a disgrace to me."
The tears roll down my cheeks, totally uncontrollable.
"If I hadn't listened to your mother back then, I wouldn't be where I am today. Only to have her die a few years after giving birth to such an atrocity."
I bite my lip, holding back a hiccup of horror as the water in my lungs tries by all means to leave my body.
"I should have slit your throat the moment they told me my son was an omega."
A sob escaped me. And the blows began again.
***
The sun was slowly disappearing behind the hills, casting a golden glow over the forest surrounding the pack. Jungkook walked silently along the paths bordering the huts of his pack, his eyes fixed on the ground. His shoulders, usually straight and proud, were slightly hunched under the weight of a day filled with mocking glances and scornful whispers. An omega, born into a family of alphas, with the added burden of being the son of the pack leader.
For as long as he could remember, Jungkook had always been considered a special member of the pack, and not in a positive way. In the eyes of the other wolves, he wasn't just an omega - he was a failure, a mistake in a noble and powerful line. His big sister, born alpha and the proud representative of their family, embodied all the qualities that the alphas of their pack revered: strength, discipline and intransigence. She was strong and respected, a warrior feared even by their allies, while he... he was nothing more than an omega.
Jungkook remembered the sardonic looks on his packmates' faces that morning, when he had walked past them on his way to training. They had watched him with smirks on their faces, stifled laughter hidden behind their hands, as if the simple fact of seeing him train amused them. Some had whispered that an omega had no place on the training ground, that his efforts were useless. But Jungkook knew that he was one of the most gifted in the art of combat. Thanks to the intensive training his father had imposed on him from an early age, he had mastered fighting techniques that even the alphas of his generation didn't dare attempt. But despite all his efforts, these skills were never enough to erase the omega label that stuck to his skin.
As he moved forward, he felt a familiar presence approaching. His older sister, Yongmi, was standing not far from him, watching from a distance. Her figure, straight and imposing, stood out clearly in the dying light. Jungkook felt a shiver of apprehension run up his spine. He knew that Yongmi had little regard for him. She saw him not only as an obstacle to her own rise within the pack, but also as a family disgrace because of his omega status.
She walked towards him with a confident gait, arms crossed over her chest, a slight icy smile on her lips.
"So, little brother, do you still think that playing warrior will make you anything other than an omega?'" she said, her voice soft but wicked.
Jungkook gritted his teeth, trying not to respond to the provocation. His sister knew how to make him react, how to press on the sensitive points that made him doubt himself. He breathed in deeply, remaining silent, hoping that she would eventually tire and leave.
But Yongmi never let go of her prey so easily.
"You should accept what you are, Jungkook." Her voice had become harder, almost cutting. "An omega doesn't need to know how to fight. What you should do is prepare yourself to fulfil your role."
Jungkook felt his heart clench. His role. He had always been told that he had only one real purpose in this pack: to marry and produce a descendance that would strengthen the ties between his family and other packs. An alliance for the good of the pack, he was told. But for Jungkook, this was nothing less than a prison.
"I'm more than that, Yongmi," he murmured, trying to contain the bitterness in his voice.
Yongmi laughed a short, dismissive laugh.
"More than that? But look at you, Jungkook. Look at yourself. You have no idea what it's like to be an alpha, what it's like to have real responsibility."
Her words hurt him deeply, but Jungkook forced himself to remain impassive. He knew that no answer would satisfy his sister and that, in any case, she had never been willing to see him as anything other than a simple omega. But even so, Jungkook wondered why his father had seen fit to teach him the fighting arts, to train him so hard, when even in his own family he was seen as nothing more than a weakness.
Yongmi continued to stare at him with undisguised disgust. It was hard for Jungkook, especially when he thought of all the effort he'd put in to get even a nod of recognition from her. He knew he was weak, a disgrace, a mistake of nature. Omegas were already rare and little regarded, but in a world where brute force was the law, to be born a man and an omega was a shame. And that was an understatement. He had never heard of another omega male, and perhaps that was why it was even more shameful. Besides, his father kept reminding him of it.
Tired of watching this brother she considered an insect, Yongmi finally turned on her heels, leaving him alone on the path. Jungkook watched her walk away with a heavy heart and a lump in his throat. His sister had always been his opposite in everything. She was the strength and confidence he had never thought he possessed. But part of him envied that unshakeable confidence, that certainty that he knew where he belonged.
He resumed his walk, his hands trembling with suppressed anger. He had no-one to turn to. No friends, no allies. Even among the other omegas in the pack, he didn't fit in. They were docile, accepting their role without flinching, and often judged him for his willingness to defy the established order. They saw his training as a waste of time, and he himself sometimes wondered why he was so stubborn.
The truth, he knew, was that he dreamt of a world where his omega condition would not define him. He dreamt of freedom and recognition, of finding a place where he would be respected and loved for who he was and not for what the pack expected of him. But these dreams seemed so far away, almost unattainable. He didn't even dare dream of that at night.
