Lily Evans and James Potter- Love at last

Chapter 6

CHAPTER 6

Lily's POV

we watched the first years get sorted, it was so cute! Soon it was over and Professor Dumbledore was giving the annual speech and we were eating. The desert was pumpkin pie with whip cream, my favorite! I was eating it so fast a didn't realize I had whip cream on my lip. "Lil?" James asked me. "yeah?" I replied. He just kissed me and licked the whip cream off. "you had a little something on your lip." he said. I blushed and laughed. "Okay prefects please lead your first years to your common rooms. Head boy and girl please come see me." Dumbledore announced. Everyone got up except James and I. "see u guys later!" I said to the girls and James said the same to the guys. Once everyone cleared out we walked up to Dumbledore. "Hello Professor" I said. "Hello Miss. Evans, Mr. Potter." "Hi Professor." James said. "I just wanted to tell you where your common room is located and the password for it." He said handing a map with the common room location and a piece of paper with the password. "You may tell your closest friends the location and password but that is it." Dumbledore said and we both agreed. "Thank you professor, good night." I said and he said good night back and we left. I studied the map and found where the common room is. "This way James." I said pointing to the right. We went down a few hallways and stairs until we finally got to our destination. It was a portrait of people playing cards. "Password?" one of them asked. "Licorice" James said reading off the paper. The painting opened up to reveal a hole in the wall that we stepped into. The common room was huge! Since we are both from Gryffindor the room was filled with Red and Yellow. To the left there was a small staircase that had a door at the top which said James Potter on it. Next to it was a door that said Guests on it. To the right there was the same thing just instead of James's name it said Lily Evans. We each went and checked our our rooms. I walked into mine and my luggage was already sitting there. There was a huge queen sized bed in the middle with a dresser on one side and a night stand on the other. There was also a full length mirror, a closet, and a bathroom. I was shocked at how cool it was. I decided to go see what the guest room looked like. I opened the door and there were two sets of bunk beds that my friends could sleep in with a bathroom connected too. I went to go see how James was doing. "James?" I called. "Yes Lilyflower?" he asked. "How you doing?" "Good! these rooms are awesome! I'm getting tired though." "Me too." I said yawning causing James to yawn. We both laughed in mid yawn. "Do you think there is still a spell so I can't go up your stairs?" He asked. "I don't know. Why don't to see?" I told him. James started walking up the stairs and made it to the top. "Ha! now there's nothing stopping me from coming and waking u up in the morning!" He exclaimed. I laughed and started walking up to my room. "I'm going to unpack in the morning. Good night James." I said giving him a kiss. He kissed me back and when we broke apart he said "Good night Lil." And walked to his room. I went inside and put on my pajamas and fell asleep quickly.

So sorry I haven't updated in forever!! I've been super busy and kinda forgot about this story.. oops. But I'm back! hopefully until I finish the book too :) so like and comment it up
