“Louis Tomlinson as in Louis Tomlinson from One Direction?” I asked gobsmacked. I was never prepared to hear that name to come out of Jay's mouth. I wasn't actually a fan of One Direction, I wasn't a hater either. I like some of their songs though but I'm more into All Time Low and The Maine.

“Yes dear. I told you you'd know him if I told you his name.” Jay said finishing her cup of tea. “Are you okay dear?” she asked me.

“Oh. Okay. Wow. That was just- I don't even know. It's quite shocking to know that I am technically 'engaged' to Louis Tomlinson. But Jay, I'm not technically a fan of your son. I just know a couple of songs but I'm not a fan. And I still don't know him except that he is 1/5 of the biggest boyband in the world.” I said still processing my thoughts.

“It doesn't matter love. Lou is a good lad. I promise you that. Even if you're not a fan he would still like you. And as for the marriage part, I've told him already so don't worry to shock him that much tomorrow when you come with me.” she said reassuringly.

Wait. What does she mean tomorrow?

“Excuse me Jay, but did I hear you right? I'm coming with you tomorrow?” I asked shocked.

“Well yes. I'm sorry to drop this bomb on you right now when you're still having a hard time. But I think that it's for the best. You're going to be all alone here and I don't want that for you. I want you to be around the people that love you, but since you don't have any family members left, I would like to bring you to Doncaster and live with me and your future family. Of course as per your mum's request.” she said.

“Wait, mum's request? How did you-” I was cut of by Jay giving me an envelope with my name on it.

“Yes dear. Your mum wrote to me a week before your mum passed away. Here is the letter if you don't believe me.” she said handing me the envelope looking a bit hurt that I didn't trust her.

“Uhm Jay? Do you mind if I read this letter alone? I don't really want to you know,” I said trailing off, hoping that I didn't offend her.

“Oh it's okay love. I'll be in the living room. And take your time, I'll be here if you need me.” she said with a smile and stalked of to the living room.

I then head to my room to read the letter. The letter that can explain everything, hopefully. I don't know if I want to read it, but I think I have to.

Dear Trixie,

If you're reading this, Trix, then it means that you have found Jay. You have found the person I trust you with. And I am most probably gone by now. I don't want you to be crying over me, love. I will always be beside you, no matter what. For now, Jay will be the one taking care of you for me, and hopefully Louis will too.

Now, I know that I haven't told you anything about this agreement thing. I am so sorry. When your father left us, I didn't know whether I should still go through with the agreement or not. But when I was diagnosed with cancer, I know I had to leave you with someone I trust fully and Jay is the only one I can trust you with. Jay will tell you everything you need to know. Just ask her and I'm sure she's going to answer you with a smile. And with you and Louis, I know you guys will be good for each other. I've only seen Louis once but I know that he is someone that you should put your trust in fully.

I am confident that you will be fine without me. When I'm gone, I want you to sell the house and move in with Jay. I've already written her a separate letter. The money that you will be making from selling the house will be all yours. I've also enclosed in this letter a debit card. I've been saving up for when that time comes that you will get married. It has more or less two million pounds. Now don't be surprised because I have been saving up ever since you were born. Add to that the money that you will earn from selling the house.
